miles Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 didnt see that coming...oh wait, yes i did Quote
darksabre Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Lehner can't be here when the Sabres are back in the playoffs. He just can't be. He won't be, don't worry. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Geez guys....that was lame Let him skate right in.The shot was practically from the blue line with no screen. That's an NHL save 99% of the time Quote
Jacque Richard Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 He lets in a ton of soft goals, send him packing Quote
Stoner Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 That had Kasparaitis-Hasek written all over it. Quote
Thorner Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Don’t know why we bother. Sabres with the same amount of Home wins as the Bills. It’s February. Quote
darksabre Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Maybe it's too harsh, but I hate Lehner so much He's the complete opposite of Ullmark, who is so damn likeable. Quote
Jacque Richard Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Murray must have drunk when he made that move for #40 Quote
Stoner Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 He won't be, don't worry. Because we'll all be dead? Quote
Samson's Flow Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Murray must have drunk when he made that move for #40If only there were good hockey players available with that 1st we traded away. :Bag: Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 This is my biannual chance to point out that most of the board thought I was nuts for wanting to trade the pick that got us A. Nylander for Cam Fowler. Quote
woods-racer Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 The shot was practically from the blue line with no screen. That's an NHL save 99% of the time 99.99% of the time is my estimate. The team battled in front of him all night, just a sad ending to a hard fought game. Quote
Thorner Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 This is my biannual chance to point out that most of the board thought I was nuts for wanting to trade the pick that got us A. Nylander for Cam Fowler. Not I. Quote
Crusader1969 Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Awful goal against but risto is completely at fault for that play even happening. Sabres have complete control of the puck and he misses Jack by a good 5 ft. Turnover and Sabres don't touch the puck again. He was awful all night IMO Quote
dudacek Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 The good news: the Sabres have just finished their most consistent seven game stretch of hockey in a year. The bad news: they won just three of those. Quote
WildCard Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 What is with Risto's passing tonight? Brutal Yeah that give and go with Eichel was just embarrassing Quote

Lehner still has to make the save. Quote
Thorner Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 (edited) That was a horrible pass. Lehner still has to make the save. Complete team effort, again. Don’t let Lehner’s bad OT goal distract you from the fact that without an own goal, Sabres win 3-2. (Maybe). Edited February 7, 2018 by Thorny Quote
Winston Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Lehner looks like he trusted his size wayyyyy too much there. He seems to do that so much. He made no effort to get to that shot, yet seemed surprised it beat him. Like it was obviously going wide and catching boards. Until it hit mesh..... Quote
Jacque Richard Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 50 points folks Get biron out retirement, better than the stiff #40 Quote
ubkev Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Because we'll all be dead? I was going to say he'd be long since retired. But this is just as likely. Quote
carpandean Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 The shot was practically from the blue line with no screen. That's an NHL save 99% of the time Went off Risto's blade, which drops that chance a bit ... still should have had it. Quote
Nitro60 Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 The shot was practically from the blue line with no screen. That's an NHL save 99% of the time You take no chances in OT. 3 wins 9 losses in OT. That is why you block shots or prevent a good look. Awful goal against but risto is completely at fault for that play even happening. Sabres have complete control of the puck and he misses Jack by a good 5 ft. Turnover and Sabres don't touch the puck again. He was awful all night IMO Passing was bad for many guys tonight. Quote
