WildCard Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Apparently every 4 years there will be a 5 or 7 game series between NA and European All Stars? It will split the 4 year rotation of the World Cup of Hockey https://en.wikipedia...d_Cup_of_Hockey Yes, I know that's Wikipedia. Don't act like College degrees weren't built off of it Still amped about this. Do the players get paid? Where is it played? Jerseys? Honestly hated NA jerseys last year, really wanna see how they blend Canada and America together, let alone all of Europe under one. COLUMBUS, Ohio -- One of the most intriguing plans the NHL and its counterparts at the NHL Players' Association are working on for future international competitions is a Ryder Cup-style event pitting the world's best European players against the top players from North America. The idea, still in its formative stages, would see the two teams play a series of games, likely in Europe, likely in London, possibly in the fall of 2018. Older article, but it's all I could findhttp://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/12221037/nhl-how-teams-look-proposed-ryder-cup-type-international-format Quote
