LTS Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 I was at that Boston game. Vendor took a group of us in a limo from Rochester. We had club level seats. Their VP cane in from Boston and was running his mouth a bit. It didn't last long after the puck dropped. We all had many beers and a chuckle. But yeah, a heck of a game. Quote
inkman Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 This didn't get the credit it deserved. Well done. Indeed Quote
darksabre Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Antipin with a good stick on McJesus. Aye Quote
LTS Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) I think the MSG sound tech just pipes in random people yelling things in the sound mix. Like a YouTube video of kids in a lunch room. Edited January 24, 2018 by LTS Quote
Sabel79 Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) I know we're up five goals, but why on earth is Nolan out there on the pp? Edited January 24, 2018 by Sabel79 Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Pretty respectable move from Housley not putting out the big guns on the Pp. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Well...it's nice and all... but I'd like to see us at least attempt to go 4-for-4 or give ROR a hat chance. Attack! You're in last place. Attack forever. Edited January 24, 2018 by DarthBerusad Quote
LTS Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Resting players and rewarding the team and some players for a good game. Quote
dudacek Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Learned something about Phil, putting out the fourth line there. Quote
darksabre Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Resting players and rewarding the team and some players for a good game. Yup. Quote
Stoner Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 A RARE whistle with the puck pinned. (Second night in a row lol) Quote
LTS Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Here comes PA with a comment on a whistle for a tied up puck. Damn. Beat me. Edited January 24, 2018 by LTS Quote
Sabel79 Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Falk owning McDavid more than once tonight has given me pause. Not stop, but pause. Quote
Brawndo Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Did Phil put the JV in? Everyone gets a chance to play and orange slices and a juice box when the game is over Edited January 24, 2018 by Brawndo Quote
Stoner Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Here comes PA with a comment on a whistle for a tied up puck. Damn. Beat me. I swear this is the only time I've seen it since 1977. Quote
French Collection Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 I wanna see an Oilers jersey tossed onto the ice. Quote
LTS Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Hell yeah. That was worth staying up. Good night everyone. Sleep with your smiles on. Quote
Sabel79 Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 5-0'win on the second night of a back-to-back? I'll allow it. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Is it a bad look that the oilers didn't even try to wreck Lehner's shutout? Quote
DarthEbriate Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Well done, gents! Falk owning McDavid more than once tonight has given me pause. Not stop, but pause. It's a little payback for one of McDavid's signature highlights of his young career when he let Falk go sprawling out of the frame on a rush goal. No link... but y'all have seen it. Quote
Tondas Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Finally, watching some hockey. Job well done Sabres. Nite all. Quote
Taro T Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Ray mentioned it was unbelievable that the Eulers were outhitting the Sabres 43-23. If he'd watched the game, it wasn't that surprising. The Eulers never had the puck so there was VERY little opportunity to hit any of them. (Plus, the Sabres typically aren't terribly physical.) Quote
