Perhaps. David Hasselhoff did it better. (also garbage).

There was a remake of THAT? Dayum, did not see that one coming.

Taro thank you for including Space Hog.

Let me throw in Better Than Ezra - Good, or Desperately Wanting

Just barely beat you to the BtE.

Really like every track on that Space Hog disc.

Just type Ash vs Evil Dead soundtrack into youtube or google and all kinds of awesome classic rock songs will be there.

Space Trucking

End of the Line

Journey to the center of your mind

Highway star

Vehicle

Knife edge

Is it my body

Go to Hell

Several dozen others, most of which span from decent to awesome.

https://www.tunefind.com/show/ash-vs-evil-dead/season-1/26959#songs

Vehicle by the Ides of March is the best one-hit-wonder song EVAR.

20) Bruce Springsteen - Thunder road (live)

I think the piano version on 75-85 live is the play here. It highlights his live performance, his ability to play a song differently in a live setting, his song writing, etc... I think this is represents him well.

27) U2 - Bad

I think this is represents them well.

28) Rush - Tom Sawyer

There were two eras of classic Rush - pre and post synthesizers. My fav pre is Temples of Syrinx (captures their mythic side). Post is Subdivisions. Tom Sawyer is never a bad choice.

30) AC/DC - Highway to Hell?

Bon Scott or Brian Johnson? Two eras. Bon Scott: The Jack (although HtH is fine). Brian Johnson: Back in Black

33) Peter Gabriel - Solsbury Hill

Slam dunk. One of the greatest songs about the pursuit of one's dreams you will find.

47) Styx - Sail Away or Fooling' Yourself

Flip a coin

49) Nirvana - Come as you are

Although if it were my list it would be a toss up between All Apologies and their Bowie cover of Man Who Sold the World

52) Goo Goo Dolls - Name

It is the song that launched the band

68) Journey: Lovin' Touchin' Feelin'

Pre or post Escape? Pre is the only way to go.

81) Metallica: Wherever I may roam

I think this is represents them well.

82) Black Sabbath: War Pigs

Assuming Ozzy on vocals (whom you should have separately as well). Paranoid and Iron Man were bigger. War Pigs was better.

86) Creed: My Own Prison/What's this Life For

They catch some flack, but Stapp wrote a few good songs before he went insane. Flip a coin.

Triumph: Fight the Good Fight

Gerry Rafferty: Baker's Street

No Doubt: Don't Speak

Foo Fighters: All My Life

America: Sister Golden Hair

Cheap Trick: I want you to want me (live)/Surrender Flip a coin

Judas Priest: Heading out to the highway

Iron Maiden: Run to the hills

Stone Temple Pilots: Creep

Sammy Hagar: Heavy Metal

Whitesnake: Slide it in

Pearl Jam: Jeremy (read the backstory about this and you will agree)

Will you marry me?

Geez there is some awesome music in here.

It's a great album. I also liked The Chinese Album too, although I know it wasn't as popular.

Alice in Chains: Would, No Excuses

Radiohead: Creep

Stone Temple Pilots: Interstate Love Song

The James Gang: Walk Away

Melissa Ethridge: I'm the Only One

Donald Fagen: New Frontier

This could probably go on for weeks.

Do it, you haven't named a song I've hated yet.

Or Sweet - Love is Like Oxygen?

Or 10cc - I'm Not in Love?

Or Moody Blues - Nights in White Satin?

I'll have to try to track it down. Not sure that I'm familiar w/ it. (Got to explore a lot less good / new music after having kids. :( )

Both those are excellent, but no love for Ballroom Blitz?

I respect the hell out of him. Like, a lot. But, God I ###### hate Bruce Springstein's music.

Again, he's ###### awesome. But ugh, I hate his music.

Is it because you’re neighbours?

Not sure about live, but Thunder Road is the only correct Springsteen choice.

Little known song by him, but Going Down is an amazing Bruce song too. Like his version of Atlantic City a lot more too

Bruce did a  heckuv a version of Erie Canal:  youtube bruce springsteen erie canal

I thought Cherry Bomb was by the Runaways.

I'm going with Tom Sawyer from Rush.  Just love the song.

I'm having a real hard time with choosing a Talking Heads' Song.  I've played Stop Making Sense so many time, all the songs are stuck in my head.  Tom Petty is the other one I'm having a real hard time trimming a list for.

What about Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden?

Does Steppenwolf get in with Born to Be Wild?

I posted song ideas for most the list so far.  I love all the input so far.  Thanks

Not strictly on topic, but in the vein of classic rock:

If your tastes run to the AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd and especially Thin Lizzy corner of the genre, and you want to explore some music from this decade, I highly, highly recommend the Black Star Riders.

Totally different song. Mellenhead's is him recollecting adventures from his youth in (or, more specifically, outside) a townie bar.
