Ho-Chi-Sock Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Can't complain at all about this one, yet some neurotically selfish, possibly OCD part of me wants Guhle and Ullmark sent back to ROCH to finish the season so they can end on a high note. Quote
miles Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 awesome game. the first 2 periods were by far the best of the season. the third was pretty good too. i really hope guhle and ullmark are up for good. i really do Quote

hockeyhound Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Whatever they're doing in practice lately seems to be working. Let's Go Buffalo! Stay pissed off. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 (edited) I think it would be crazy to send them back They can go back to the AHL for the playoffs. Until then, they'll help us get to the 8th pick. Edited January 12, 2018 by DarthBerusad Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 (edited) I think it would be crazy to send them back The can go back for the AHL playoffs. I see no reason why they shouldn't get a few NHL games in over the next couple of months. edit: one reason stated above Edited January 12, 2018 by Potato Quote
Ogre Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 This seaon Sabres are not worthy of these players, Rochester are. I would personally drive them both back to Rochester if that’s what it takes. Quote
Ho-Chi-Sock Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 This seaon Sabres are not worthy of these players, Rochester are. Pretty much this. If the Sabres had a chance at the postseason, fine you have a point. But I'm willing to sacrifice the rest of the year for a high lottery pick AND to let these young cats get enough momentum to come in and set the world ablaze in camp. No point in exposing them to the current state of the team for too long. Quote
Thorner Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Eichel with 17 points in his last 12 games. He’s doing that thing again..... Quote
Tondas Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 I think it would be crazy to send them back Maybe it wakes up some of the vets who Guhle and Ullmark really embarrassed tonight. They need to pick up their game or start learning how to sell insurance (and I by no means am say that selling insurance is a less that honorable profession.) Quote
hockeyhound Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 (edited) So what's the Sabres plan, keep Jack, Risto, get rid of everyone else, and transfer the Amerks to Buffalo? Edited January 12, 2018 by hockeyhound Quote
Taro T Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Fun game. Very happy for Ullmark. Wonder if him staying up would cause Lehner to finally figure out how to properly use the reverse V-H positioning? Unlike Lehner who leaves a LOT of open space @ the post because he just doesn't lean in on it; Ullmark had the post covered. Absolutely no room between him & the post. Good to see Guhle get a helper as well. When they weren't in Alamo-mode, the whole team seemed to be skating better. Wonder how much of that was just perception because they were playing w/ a lead & how much of it was legit. Quote

Stoner Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 I think I could watch Linus in postgame interviews for, oh, 11-14 years. Quote
R_Dudley Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 I seen what you did there. Glad to see the symbolism was noticed and I would say he did add a spark. Best looking goaltender I've seen for Buffalo this year. But agree with all here who say send him back to Amerks to let him and Guhle continue to play in a positive winning atmosphere. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 New display name! ...on account of that's what it takes to be a Sabres fan these days. Quote
WildCard Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Eichel with 17 points in his last 12 games. He’s doing that thing again..... He has a ton of empty netters though Quote

Ogre Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 :worthy: https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses/951644867259764737 I really like the guy. I’ve followed his career since he was drafted and he’s not only a good goalie, he’s a good person. Always keeping it light hearted. A few games ago Beautiful Erica asked him in his first star of the game interview “what was key to winning this game?”. He responds “well we got more goals than they did.” Love it!Seriously though, he needs to get back to Rochester ASAP. There’s a Cup to win. Quote
