GASabresIUFAN Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 The first decent 2nd half deal went down today. Duclair and Clendening to Chicago for Panik and a minor leaguer. Not surprised Stan Bowman got a deal done. I wouldn't be surprised if Duclair flourishes in Chicago. I'd call this the first shot by a contender to strengthen their forwards heading into the deadline 6 or so weeks from now. So who's next? Kane? Quote
WildCard Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 TSN reported they're not expecting Kane to move until sometime in February. Lot of teams that are interested still aren't sure if they're buyers or not yet Quote
Thorner Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 TSN reported they're not expecting Kane to move until sometime in February. Lot of teams that are interested still aren't sure if they're buyers or not yet Botterill is walking a fine line deciding when to pull the trigger. How long he’s willing to wait to maximize value. Everyone is saying this trade is potentially a significant building block, and it’s one random injury away from being nullified. Kane doesn’t have the best injury history, either. Quote
