LGR4GM Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 He is insanely good. Accuracy, touch, and decision making. Led college football in passer rating two years in a row and was 4th as a sophomore.Oh yea. If they win it will be because of Mayfield Quote
GoPre Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 17 plays and 209 yards for Oklahoma. They're cruising right now. Quote
darksabre Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 17 plays and 209 yards for Oklahoma. They're cruising right now. This is bananas :w00t: Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Not a lot of (any?) defense being played in this game. Quote
GoPre Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Georgia answers w/ a 75+ yard td run. Any defense in this game?! Go Georgia!!! Quote
darksabre Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Screw defense, let's have a shootout Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 So 3 touchdowns and a field goal on their first 4 possessions for Oklahoma? ...Yet, it still looks like this game might be decided in the 4th quarter. Quote

darksabre Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 I'm annoyed and impressed. That was hilarious. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Oklahoma's play calling is masterful. Quote
darksabre Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Mayfield is pretty dang good. But that whole Oklahoma team is pretty good too. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Mayfield is pretty dang good. But that whole Oklahoma team is pretty good too. Yeah, their offensive line is as good as it gets. That gives Mayfield time to do his thing. And, they've opened up some big holes in the running game. Quote
GoPre Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 We now have a Rose Bowl! Georgia made it 31-24 in favor of Oklahoma. Go SEC!!! Quote
darksabre Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Georgia defense has had a very good game since the first quarter Quote
ubkev Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 (edited) Mayfield has to show what he's made of now. Georgia has dominated all half. Edited January 2, 2018 by ubkev Quote
Winston Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 The Watch ESPN app is unbearable. I am fully aware that I have little room to complain- I’m signed in under a family member’s cable account, using the app on my Xbox. ESPN wants me to pay for cable, sure, so they have minimal incentive to master this platform. But the product quality is pathetic. I’d be embarrassed to have my name on this app. I just want to watch some football! Quote
darksabre Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Mayfield has to show what he's made of now. Georgia has dominated all half. Georgia is rolling. This has been fun. Quote
darksabre Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Gonna come down to the wire. Highly entertaining game. Mayfield reminds me a little of Roethlisberger Quote
WildCard Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Mayfield reminds me a little of Roethlisberger You shut your mouth Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Holy crap. Does this game have some momentum shifts or what?! Quote
inkman Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Gonna come down to the wire. Highly entertaining game. Mayfield reminds me a little of Roethlisberger Too bad he's like his really little tiny brother. Ben is 6'5" 260 lbs (mostly of the schlubby variety) and Baker is listed at 6'1" 209 lbs. But I get your point. He's the next Drew Brees or is it Johnny Football. Quote

I've always thought Mayfield has a lot of Drew Brees in him with his accuracy and the way he processes the game. Manziel was never particularly accurate and threw a lot of 50/50 deep balls at A&M that his tall receivers would come down with. Mayfield doesn't usually take those sorts of risks with the ball (although he did throw a bad pick today). ...is this game any good? Woah. Quote
