I believe you and I are around the same age.  

 

I'm guessing you were born somewhere between 1960 and 1965 and a teen / 20 something when all the great music from 1976 through 1986 was happening.

I can see why you would think this, but in fact I'm not quite 40...

 

Just a precocious little snot who was Baron Samedi for Halloween when I was 5 because I saw him dancing in a Blondie video (Rapture) and thought it was cool... I sometimes wonder exactly what my parents were thinking/smoking.

 

I came of age during hair metal / early rap melting into grunge and whatever happened to hip-hop. No thanks. Now it's come back full-circle and everything is garbage 80's pop. It was so much better the first time.
