Taro T Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 The audio on my computer is screwed up, so I didn't get a chance to follow the video, but I hope that they are serious about the obstruction crackdown. Lindy Ruff stated at a youth coaching clinic the Sabres put on last week that the league has done more this year in trying to get buy in from coaches, players, and refs than they had in past years. (For whatever that is worth.) Like I've said before, I'll start to believe they are serious when I see an interference call or a hook in the last 3 minutes of the 3rd period in a one goal hockey game. Dave.
Hawerchuk Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Exactly. These are all big IFs, but if the league is serious, then I think it will make for better hockey and believe it or not, the Sabres should benefit since we have a ton of speed on our team. Lets just hope it doesn't fade after two months. All these teams that spent big bucks on veteran old slower guys, will hopefully pay a big price in the fact that they can't keep up. I'm so pumped for fast hockey. Lets Go Buffalo!
Guest pwner Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Looking at that you can see why Darcy is reluctant to sign McKee to a long term deal. If that stuff sticks, 90% of McKee's repetoire is gone.
