I seriously think Lehner is the worst starting goalie the Sabres have ever had.

Your usual Lehner chime in when it's basically irrelevant.

48 saves.

Maybe Jack should learn to finish on a breakaway.

True, but he played a great game

Our bottom 6 is just such freaking garbage

It seems like most other goalies are much better at looking around the screen, seeing the shot in spite of screens. Is he just too tall?

He shouldnt have had to if our superstar would actually play like one when it matters. He is great when we are down 4-0 tho...

Jack is really bad one on one. It's just not his thing. No idea how to get a goalie to bite.

The offside in question is a great example of how a player can precede the puck into the zone and be onside if he's controlling it. A much better example certainly than that controversial call earlier in the year.

He did. I honestly don't understand why he's so bad at breakaways. At this point I would tell him to just go in and take a slap shot or wrister from the slot.

Is the answer because he practices them against Lehner?

Lehner could see, he was just looking in the wrong place. It was a great play by the shooter to throw on the brakes and send it around Okposo against the grain with the goalie watching for him on the other side.

With Lehner, it's not about how many, it's about when.

Potentially.

I think Jack had a great game today regardless. Lehner was phenomenal.

We can't ever seem to beat the Blackhawks. They aren't very good this year.

How many softies from the blue line in the 3rd period (or OT) does Lehner have to give up before people stop apologizing for him?

When the Sabres have a lead in the 3rd period, we all know he's going to let one in.

He doesn't have what is needed upstairs to close out games.

I guaran-damn-tee that he's not their goalie next year.

He gives that goal up in the third we still lose 3-2.

What did he have today, a .941 sv%? That's enough to win, surely.
