spndnchz Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 Mitstats every setup counts for one pull-up. Lol So he’s master of pull ups. Master Stat. Quote
Derrico Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 I don’t think pulling yourself up to the bar counts. Hahahahaha now that's funny. Quote

Thorner Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 How Nylander doesn't get an assist on the 4th Sweden goal is beyond me. The IIHF scoring system is so weird. Quote
French Collection Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 Budik with 2 assists in the Czech victory today. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 This worksThis works Wow, that's great Quote
Thorner Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 Nylander only has 5 unfortunately. Unless they change the scoring on that 4th goal to give him the assist. But it deflected in off a Swiss player, therefore IIHF rules nullify the assists. The odd IIHF rules actually resulted in 7 straight "unassisted" goals in the Sweden Switzerland game. Quote

Thorner Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) I had no idea that was a thing. Wow. That's kinda dumb. Ya. They've actually added assists on the 5th Sweden goal, but still, 5 straight unassisted goals today due to the rules. Nylander robbed of that extra assist as well. Oh well. Mittelstadt tied for 1st in scoring with Pettersson, Nylander tied for 3rd with a few others. Pretty good. Edited December 30, 2017 by Bjorn Borg Quote
Crusader1969 Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 Wow, you are right about that assist being taken away. In my books he still has 6. Tied with Petterson and soon to be Sabres teamates Mittelstadt and Dahlin Quote

Thorner Posted December 31, 2017 Report Posted December 31, 2017 Budik up to 3 points for the Czechs. Luukkonen just seems ok. Quote
Thorner Posted December 31, 2017 Report Posted December 31, 2017 Nice finish from Casey. Mittelstadt regains sole possession of tournament scoring lead. I don't think we have a player rostered with his natural finishing ability. Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Added a primary assist to Fox to win the game.... Casey in the Clutch. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted January 1, 2018 Author Report Posted January 1, 2018 Casey... Casey..... Casey!!!!! Quote
Crusader1969 Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 On the day Bills make the playoffs, I think it's ok to dare to dream of Dahlin wearing a Sabres jersey https://twitter.com/bardown/status/947639871883137024 Quote

dudacek Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Doubt many are watching Sweden right now, but Nylander is exactly what he was last year - tremendously skilled and completely devoid of aggression. Quote

Brawndo Posted January 1, 2018 Report Posted January 1, 2018 Budik up to 3 points for the Czechs. Luukkonen just seems ok. His defense is hanging him out to dry, which should prepare him for playing with Sabres D Quote
Taro T Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 How Nylander doesn't get an assist on the 4th Sweden goal is beyond me. The IIHF scoring system is so weird. Went in off the Swiss D, so it's an "own goal" & no assists. (Guess you already figured that out. Shoukd've read the rest of the thread before replying. ;) ) Budik up to 3 points for the Czechs. Luukkonen just seems ok. Budik's points seem to be a function of getting paired w/ Hajek after the 1st game. His minutes are up significantly from that 1st game vs Russia. With all the skill Finland has on D, they leave him Luukkonen hung out to dry an awful lot. Wasn't impressed w/ him against Canada but thought he's been good since then. Quote
