matter2003 Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Wow...they played pretty well...bout time. Now lets see if it lasts more than 1 game. Quote

Taro T Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 We match up well against a bad Colorado team. Let's see how they look against Chicago and St. Louis. Not hopeful about the next 1. But very curious to see how they play in St. Louie. Cautiously optimistic for that 1. Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 I hope the win inspires JBOTT, with him thinking his big moves inspired this victory. Quote
hockeyhound Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 That's How We Do. Great job linesmen. Let's Go Buffalo! Quote
French Collection Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Pretty solid effort all around. Jack and Evander finally cashed in after being snake bitten earlier in the game. Wilson and ERod were good. Fasching with some power forward work on the boards and in front of the net. Risto with some snarl. PP looked better, should score soon, now that the D goal curse has been lifted. Antipin and Falk were a decent third pairing. Put on your big boy pants and take on some stiffer competition. Quote
dudacek Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 I think that is the Sabres best six on defence. Maybe the game has passed me by, but Risto’s game tonight is exactly how I want my defencemen to play. Lehner did not look good on either goal. See how it doesn’t matter when they score three instead of one? Quote
North Buffalo Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) I think that is the Sabres best six on defence. Maybe the game has passed me by, but Risto’s game tonight is exactly how I want my defencemen to play. Lehner did not look good on either goal. See how it doesn’t matter when they score three instead of one? Agree from the parts I saw, Lehner hiccups but was solid and great the rest of the game. Can't wait till he finally calms down a little more. Still think he can be a number one if the D plays like they did tonight. Loved the snarl, finally say a forcheck. Only guy again who needs to step up is Sam... way too passive... ROR had a really good game... looked engaged and shorty was a thing of beauty, the hustle and pass to Pulliot. Doohicksie Posted December 6, 2017 Author Report Posted December 6, 2017 Wow...they played pretty well...bout time. Now lets see if it lasts more than 1 game. I had to keep telling myself: This is only Colorado, and they play like we do. Very nice :flirt: Quote
Thorner Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Sabres win streak on the horizon. There is NO HORIZON! Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 so that is what a 60 minute effort looks like. Who knew? Quote
Hugh Jass Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Obviously I don't want to get too excited about one game, but man, when this team skates and they battle, they are really fun to watch. Rodrigues and Wilson looked good, too, and even made other guys around them look good too. Good win against a somewhat superior team. Quote
MODO Hockey Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 I would say what is most positive with this game was Wilson, except the win ofc. Anyone care to elaborate mr wilson and his game a little more? (i didnt get to see the game cus of work) Cheers! GO SABRES Quote
miles Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 i was unable to watch it on the NHL.tv. all of the game links were inactive. i ended up going to sleep frustrated . meh Quote
That Aud Smell Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Agree with Bulldog on Twitter (from what I saw of the game): Eichel was skating like he hasn’t for ... a long time. Which is frustrating. Quote
JohnRobertEichel Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Moulson waived = Sabres win....who's next?! I nominate Josh Gorges. Quote
eman Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Reality will settle in after the St. Louis game. The Blues fore check is relentless. Our only hope is of Jake Allen is complete garbage that night. This one could get ugly. Quote
Gramps Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Moulson waived = Sabres win....who's next?! I nominate Josh Gorges. Zemgus Girgengone Quote
Huckleberry Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Zemgus Girgengone Don't think so, we got 7 UFA's, lets say 3 are traded at the deadline, we still need bodies without harming the americans to much. Quote
