Thorner Posted November 24, 2017 Report Posted November 24, 2017 So we're healthy now (Bogosian doesn't count). Go out and win. It's really boiling down to him understanding what kind of player he needs to be both in the game, each shift, and off the ice, all the time. He clearly doesn't get it yet. He appears to be harboring some expectation of entitlement to being a great player. Right now it's clearly his head that's the problem. If not already posted in the Around the NHL thread I will link to an article on Jagr's influence on Gadreau. I'll still be watching tonight, but I will also flip the Minnesota vs. Notre Dame hockey game too (thanks for pointing it out!) I think it would be of great benefit to the youth to bring in a vet leader like that, if one can be found. Jagr would have been a good idea, in retrospect. Quote

Thorner Posted November 24, 2017 Report Posted November 24, 2017 I thought that's what ROR was here for I think in the end O'Reilly was almost as much in need of veteran leadership as the younger kids. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted November 24, 2017 Report Posted November 24, 2017 It's hard for me to describe how excited I was to go to this game with my family when we picked it as part of a mini pack, versus how unexcited I am to go now. At least we're doing Hydraulic Hearth for dinner. yup, this was the game I was most excited about in October and now I sold the tickets for $70 per....good times If he can't be motivated by a match-up against McDavid, especially at home, to really show what he really has to offer, he probably never will. And if McDavid is what has to motivate him, he's a loser already. Quote
Beer Posted November 24, 2017 Report Posted November 24, 2017 I'm looking forward to seeing McDavid in action. Quote

Tondas Posted November 25, 2017 Report Posted November 25, 2017 Always risky before the game starts, but I think Antipin has gotten noticeable better since the seasons start. Quote

Thorner Posted November 25, 2017 Report Posted November 25, 2017 That's twice recently the goal judge turned on the red light when it didn't go in. Must be drunk. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted November 25, 2017 Report Posted November 25, 2017 That goal judge is going to be sacked. Quote
