Tondas Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 There is something very wrong with Jack. He can't do anything. It's inflation. $10 million a year doesn't get you what it used to. Quote
Thorner Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 There is something very wrong with Jack. He can't do anything. If this is the new Eichel, the damage his contract could do to the Sabres could be catastrophic. Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 That was a nice save. Do you think they should keep Johnson going forward? Quote
Beer Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 There is no creativity, no possession, no passion, no hunger, no urgency, no nothing, @$&! Quote
Tondas Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 I thought last weekend that the Sabres/Bills couldn't possibly go 0 for 3. Now I'm worried about this weekend going 0 for 4. Sad state of affairs when you have to count on the Bills to break the streak. Quote
Tondas Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Do you think they should keep Johnson going forward? I do. I think Ullmark and Johnson next year is a good duo. Quote
Beer Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Who is the turd that is polluting this punch bowl? There is too much talent to suck this bad. Who is it JBots?!?! Figure it out and quickly. Edited November 19, 2017 by Beer Quote
Gramps Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 It's inflation. $10 million a year doesn't get you what it used to. IMO, Jack thinks he can take shifts or parts of shifts off as he probably did in college as one of the best players. No sense of urgency to his game. Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) I do. I think Ullmark and Johnson next year is a good duo. Are the Sabres confident that Ullmark can be a #1 goalie? Who do they go to if Ullmark isn't their guy? Even if we were to make it into the playoffs the question is going to be, will we have the goaltending to keeps us in the playoffs. JohnRobertEichel Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 I'm ready to start trading away underachievers for picks. What can we get for KO? He's a shell of his former self. ROR worth a first? I'd be really interested in finding out what Okposo's trade value is right now. At this point, I'd take anything for him just to get rid of that contract. Even if he returns to form, he was never a superstar and it's not like we really sacrificed anything for him since he was a free agent pick-up. Quote

No sense of urgency to his game. Agree. As a past coach of mine used to say, "Jack is wishing for it, he's not working for it." Quote
Gramps Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Jack Eichel has no shots and is minus-1 with 16:10 of ice time. Sam Reinhart has no shots and is minus-1 with 10:56 of ice time. Quote
Tondas Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Are the Sabres confident that Ullmark can be a #1 goalie? Who do they go to if Ullmark isn't their guy? Frankly, with the talent in this organization now, goaltending wont matter next year. Ullmark will have a chance to make a name for himself. Quote

Stoner Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Nice stretch pass by Antipin to Reinhart but nothing came of it. Quote
Beer Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Nice stretch pass by Antipin to Reinhart but nothing came of it. Sam is not alright Quote
Stoner Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Another nice reaction save by Johnson on a tip of a long shot. Better reflexes than Lehner? Maybe that bull rush off the left wing to the net will get Jack going. Quote

SwampD Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 This is brutal. Carolina is up a goal. When we have the puck in our zone, the send three on the forecheck. When they have the puck in their zone, we kinda send one. Quote
