Mustache of God Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Wow...there was almost zero response from the DET crowd at that no-goal call. that's worse than us, right? Quote
LTS Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Why did I think a failed challenge was a power play? Only for challenging offside. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 That's been a good goal for the last 100 years. Good to see it still is (touching the goalie or not). Without a billion cameras there's no way to even consider looking at it again. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 I thinkthe only reason the goal stands is because he is out of the crease. In the crease that's interference Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Why did I think a failed challenge was a power play? I don't know Quote
LTS Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Wow...there was almost zero response from the DET crowd at that no-goal call. that's worse than us, right? Well, if there is no crowd it's not as bad as if thereis a crowd that's quiet. Â They can be faulted for not being there but I think that's as loud as that many people can get. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Only for challenging offside.Ya learn something new every day! Â Two things for me today, I learned a lot about the Laguerre polynomials Quote
darksabre Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 I think it should be interference if a goalie comes out of the crease and gets in the way of a player. Quote
Stoner Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 I could swear that it's everything It matters. But the goalie isn't fair game. I'll look it up, but there are like 30 scenarios. I'm guessing the ref is saying the contact was incidental. Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) What did I miss? Â Went to make some chicken nuggets. Homemade. Edited November 18, 2017 by hockeyhound Quote

I've seen a goaltender called for interference but in this case it's incidental. Quote
josie Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) Wow...there was almost zero response from the DET crowd at that no-goal call. that's worse than us, right? Wasn't too long ago they were a dynasty... missing the playoffs last year and knowing they're most likely gonna miss them this year hurts after 25 years of making it.  Buffalo fans are just so much more used to feeling pain. All the Wings fans I know just do not know how to cope with failure... hell, some of them weren't alive when the playoff run started. The infallible Detroit farm system/Swede farm has faltered. Datsyuk's gone, Kronwall's old, Zetterberg's back could put him in retirement any year, and aside from Larkin and Mantha, the new crew is lackluster.  Or something like that.   edit: and then they go and do that. Bleh. Edited November 18, 2017 by Josie914 Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) Crap, I should've called it a night. Â Good night people, have a great weekend. Â Let's Go Buffalo! Edited November 18, 2017 by hockeyhound Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 That was a shocking and unexpected GA Â Not really Lehner's fault but yeah Quote
qwksndmonster Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Poor qwk's head just exploded.Nah I'm not watching. Did they miss a faceoff that resulted in missing a goal? Quote
