WildCard Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 5 point difference between basement Coyotes and us....they can do it, I'm sure they can Coyotes are also the first team in NHL history to not win a game in regulation through their first 20 games Quote
R_Dudley Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Kinda Ghost in here for game day thread. Lets go Buffalo can we get 3 periods of spirited play tonight, Ok baby steps I'll take 2 and 1/2, maybe that is enough for a regulation win. Also who gets the start in Goal, didn't see a line up yet? Brawndo Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Starting these things is starting to feel like jumping on a grenade They are 0-20 when I start them Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Go Sabres!!! Beat those nasty old Wings! Turn them into Chicken Wings and drowned them in hot sauce! Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Just win!! GO SABRES!! Quote
Mustache of God Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 I've heard rumblings that this Crisco character is secretly middlestatd in disguise (a la scooby doo villain). I expect 5 goals from him tonight. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 You should probably stop doing that then  Yep Quote
jsb Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Is this their first game in Little Ceasar's Arena??? The Wings last game they scored 8 goals against Calgary, that's a month load of goals for us. Should be a free wheeling game. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 The lines #Sabres lines in Detroit: Kane - Eichel - Reinhart Pouliot - O'Reilly - Okposo Griffith - Larsson - Pominville Girgensons - Criscuolo - Nolan Moulson extra Scandella - Falk McCabe - Beaulieu Gorges - Antipin Nelson extra Quote

LTS Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Works for me... I don't care. I haven't watched much hockey after being out of town the past week. I just want to see a game tonight and drink some many beer(s) with it. Quote

Samson's Flow Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Or this group? The lack of Risto is pretty apparent. Get back soon big guy. Quote
Mustache of God Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 The lack of Risto is pretty apparent. Get back soon big guy. Is there an update on Risto or is he "day-to-day" and is that actual day to day or the Houlsey day to day? Wasn't Bogo skating last week? Has he been practicing or should we assume he'll only play 15 games this year. Is this the game where our defense finally finds nets a goal? Quote
DarthEbriate Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 What are the odds we get a goal out of this group? The odds of a Sabres 3rd/4th liner or defenseman scoring are approximately three thousand seven hundred twenty... to one. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 I think those lines are better than last game, in that Moulson isn't playing. Griffith is certainly better even if he's bad, and I'm sure Kyle C. is also better. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 (edited) Okay, looking closer though, put Zemgus on line 3 in place of Seth and use that line to spell ROR, Phil. Come on. You're wasting a decent player on line 4 and weakening line 3 to do it. Learn how to stack a top 6! Edited November 17, 2017 by Randall Flagg Quote

You're wasting a decent player on line 4 and weakening line 3 to do it. Learn how to stack a top 6! I somewhat agree but a 4th line of Griffith - Crisco - Nolan seems...well...bad. Girgs on that line adds a bit of defensive responsibility and complements the muscle along with Nolan. Then again, maybe a powerhouse AHL line would translate well to the NHL? Quote
