I just wonder if this is the handoff we've all seen coming and most didn't even notice happening.

I think Rick is doing the same number of games as previous years -- maybe half -- but this year it seems like Dan is getting more early games. Which is good for Dan as he can get into the season. Rick isn't taking a vacation after the New Year, so his schedule isn't more frontloaded as in past years. A hound's breakfast reply.
