Doohicksie Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 I like Tennyson as a puck mover. Not flashy, but effective. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Loved those pictures of Bailey Quote
LTS Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Is this a Sabres broadcast? It's so Buffalo focused. Quote
Scottysabres Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Scandella, one hell of a pick up. Love this guy. Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 Starting to look good, guys. Quote

LTS Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Is this a bad thing? Nope. Just feels like Kenny replaced RJ. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Is Scandella our best defenseman already? Just with the simple un-panicked plays? And more importantly can he bring out those wonderful jaw-droppingly awesome moments in Risto on a regular basis? Quote
Thorner Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Is this a Sabres broadcast? It's so Buffalo focused. It's hilarious that Rob Ray is on the National broadcast. That is the result. Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 Everything but the goal in the last minute. Question though: After putting on the pressure with a solid shift, why abandon the offensive zone to make a change with 15 seconds left in the period? Keep the pressure on down low, maybe the Wings make a mistake. Quote

3putt Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 He's our best defenseman right now. Without question Quote
Pokey Jones Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Sloppy hockey with poor puck management. This team still has to learn to play together as a unit, and not as a bunch of individuals. Effort level is good though and they seem to be picking up their speed so let's hope that continues. If it does, they should be ok as Detroit isn't exactly coming across as a powerhouse. Myself, I'd take Okposo off that Eichel line and put Bailey back but I'm probably more impatient than Phil. Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 After a rough patch, the Sabres ended up outshooting the Wings 12-10 in the first. They outshot them 10-2 at the end of the period. Quote
Sabel79 Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Other than the ongoing tire fire that is the power play, the Sabres are looking decent. Of course, it is the Red Wings... Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 Nope. Just feels like Kenny replaced RJ. Rob Ray is doing pretty good (aside from putting a few names through the salad shooter). Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Okposo missed a golden opportunity there, sure it was in the air but cmon..... I'm sitting at center ice in the 300s, this game has a feel of a more keep away zthan actually setting up much offense Quote
