If you propel the puck, you've controlled it. At least that's how the NHL defines control.

I'd spend an hour ever practice just passing. This teams fundamentals are garage.

I'd spend an hour breaking sticks over players heads until they start actually wanting to play. These are pros out there who spe t their lives playing this game, it shouldn't be so hard to be able to pass and play better then this.

if that's the case the anytime it touches someone you have "Control" cause it will alter the movement of the puck

We're down the rabbit hole of semantics now. But yeah if you've altered the movement, you've propelled it I think.
