darksabre Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Holy cow. I guess we can't give him sh*t anymore. Dude was literally incapable of trying hard. Quote
Taro T Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Dayum. Guess he really was still giving it his all when his results went in the dumpster. Cool that he's still involved in the game. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Holy cow. I guess we can't give him sh*t anymore. Dude was literally incapable of trying hard. Does this mean he gets the letters in his name back? Quote
darksabre Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Does this mean he gets the letters in his name back? Unequivocally. Quote
bunomatic Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 I feel bad for him. I hope he lives a long, happy, healthy and productive life. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Wow, that's nothing to mess with, good on him for playing still until he couldn't Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 That explains things. The Sabres and TBN should re-publish this story to let the fans know why CoHo’s career ended. I went to summer camp in Haliburton for years. Great place in northern Ontario. The Haliburton Hockey Heaven was a huge deal. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 maybe ROR has the hyperthermia He has meatlessness syndrome Quote
Huckleberry Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Damn, feel bad about all the things we said about him :( explains a lot I guess. Quote

Stoner Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 What's this say about the Sabres medical staff? Miss GoDD for a thread like this. Quote
Eleven Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 (edited) What's this say about the Sabres medical staff? Miss GoDD for a thread like this. Lots of diseases/disorders aren't easy to detect. This one required a "muscle biopsy," whatever that is (without specifying the muscle, how are we to know?). It seems that they basically were at the point where they were checking him for some type of cancer when they discovered it. Edited October 15, 2017 by Eleven Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Agreed. I feel for him but that Cy Hgsn stuff was great. Yes. Sorry for your troubles Cody. Since I believe it was I that removed them I officially reinstate the missing letters in your name. Cody Hodgson. Quote
nfreeman Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 That explains things. The Sabres and TBN should re-publish this story to let the fans know why CoHo’s career ended. I went to summer camp in Haliburton for years. Great place in northern Ontario. The Haliburton Hockey Heaven was a huge deal. Minor question for the Ontarians: would Haliburton qualify as “Northern Ontario?” I tend to think of “North Ontario” as closer to Hudson Bay — but I could be out to lunch on that. As for CH: good luck to ya, kid. I’m glad you made a good bit of cash before this was taken away from you. Quote
Neo Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 Best to Cody ... I used to vacation on Lake Baptiste. Halliburton general store was a stop for supplies. Highland Grove and Bancroft, too! Ontario is so large, that you can be quite north, and still in southern Ontario. PS ... God lives there. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 We used to take canoe trips through Algonquin park. It really is some one of the most beautiful places I’ve every been. Quote

biodork Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 Holy cow. That poor SOB went through so much just to try and play, and none of us had any idea what he was battling. I'm glad he's gotten a diagnosis and still has the ability to participate (if only peripherally) in something he loves, but damn. Quote
calti Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 Algonquin twice ... 7 days each. Honeymooned on Baptiste. i took many canoe trips thru algonquin park. def God's country. Quote
biodork Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 For any fellow nerds interested in more about malignant hyperthermia: https://www.my46.org/trait-document?trait=Malignant%20hyperthermia%20susceptibility&type=profile Most people find out (too late) that they have it when they've had anesthesia for surgery, but in rare cases strenuous exercise can trigger it as well. He is seriously lucky to be okay. Quote
