Brawndo Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Lines are Girgs-Eichel-Pominville, Kane-ROR-Moulson, Reinhart-Larsson-Griffith, Pouliot-Josefson-Nolan. #Sabres (2/2) And Antipin is in for Tenneyson No Okposo at AM Skate This is per Harrington Quote
LTS Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Okposo clearly not feeling well. He was a GTD in San Jose. If he's got some sickness going on that sucks. Being in SoCal and sick? Es no bueno. Quote

Due to LA's size, am not hating having Gorges in again (though still not thrilled w/ it; 1very good boards battle not withstanding). Is Okposo hurt? Didn't notice any injury & he was on the ice w/ the goalie pulled Thursday night. Absolutely hate having Moulson in the lineup, even against a slower team like LA. They aren't THAT slow. Okposo clearly not feeling well. He was a GTD in San Jose. If he's got some sickness going on that sucks. Being in SoCal and sick? Es no bueno. Thanks. Hadn't seen this before posting. Hopefully rest this afternoon will have him ready to go. Quote
Sabel79 Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Hammy just tweeted that KO is definitely out tonight. Matty Mo in. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Had a dream we won 3 in a row starting tonight, so let's see how that goes That's awesome! Lines are Girgs-Eichel-Pominville, Kane-ROR-Moulson, Reinhart-Larsson-Griffith, Pouliot-Josefson-Nolan. #Sabres (2/2) And Antipin is in for Tenneyson No Okposo at AM Skate This is per Harrington Samson and Girgs should switch Quote

Weave Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) Samson on his off wing now? Phylis is having a heck of a time finding the right fit now that Pommer is fixed at Jacks hip. Edited October 14, 2017 by We've Quote
Brawndo Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Housley announced that Antipin is out tonight. Quote
Taro T Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 That's awesome! Samson and Girgs should switch  Samson on his off wing now? Phylis is having a heck of a time finding the right fit now that Pommer is fixed at Jacks hip. Had the same question. Also, for as bad as everyone seems to think Girgensons is when playing w/ Eichel, he did have 2 nice 2ndary assists on Pominville's 2 goals. Housley announced that Antipin is out tonight. :censored: Quote
Huckleberry Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 So which Sabre scores tonight? I'm going with Zemgus Samson Quote
darksabre Posted October 14, 2017 Author Report Posted October 14, 2017  Had the same question. Also, for as bad as everyone seems to think Girgensons is when playing w/ Eichel, he did have 2 nice 2ndary assists on Pominville's 2 goals. :censored: Those goals wouldn't have even happened without Zemgus. He made crucial plays on both. Secondary Assists should be his entire purpose. Quote
Taro T Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Those goals wouldn't have even happened without Zemgus. He made crucial plays on both. Secondary Assists should be his entire purpose. Yep. Do the dirty work: dig the puck out, get it to a spot Eichel can control it, then try to crash the net for a rebound. It isn't glamorous, but getting to be the 3rd wheel on a top line w/ at least 1 elite player is not a bad job description. Worked for Robert, Simmer, Gillies, Renberg, etc. Quote
Eleven Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) But, I also lead the fantasy football league How the hell do you lose twice in five weeks in a survivor pool? How does that happen? The only other person (well, people) I know are my dad and B-I-L. And they had to do a 3x re-buy. Which is why I do not team up with them. Samson on his off wing now? Phylis is having a heck of a time finding the right fit now that Pommer is fixed at Jacks hip. This is as stupid as you suggest. Housley announced that Antipin is out tonight. If Housley were using him correctly, I'd care. Edited October 14, 2017 by Eleven Quote
SwampD Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Is playing on the off wing really a big deal? I've never met a player who gave a crap about it. And it's actually better for some things. Quote

Eleven Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Is playing on the off wing really a big deal? I've never met a player who gave a crap about it. And it's actually better for some things. Depends on the player. It wasn't fair to Bailey, I'll say that. Quote
Derrico Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Is playing on the off wing really a big deal? I've never met a player who gave a crap about it. And it's actually better for some things. Playing off wing doesn't matter. Playing off wing on the third line away from jack is horse . Quote
Tom Backyard Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Who was the last Sabre to score a goal in Los Angeles? If you answered Craig Rivet, yes that Craig Rivet, you would be correct. So, based on superstitioun alone, would this be a good night or a bad night to pull my Craig Rivet jersey out of the closet? Quote
Taro T Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 So, based on superstitioun alone, would this be a good night or a bad night to pull my Craig Rivet jersey out of the closet? With ya, brutha. We gots ta do it. Quote
Scottysabres Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Who was the last Sabre to score a goal in Los Angeles? If you answered Craig Rivet, yes that Craig Rivet, you would be correct. Yikes! That little sabres history nugget only confirms to me what I said in the sharks GDT......I have a bad feeling about this road trip. Quote
Tom Backyard Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) With ya, brutha. We gots ta do it. Consider it done. Are we the only two people who own Craig Rivet jerseys? Maybe if enough of us wear Rivet jerseys tonight, the streak will end. Edited October 14, 2017 by Tom Backyard Quote

DarthEbriate Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Rivet up! Although... wasn't he a Shark and not a King? Tonight's the night for McNabb sweaters! And... I just read the other quoted items... last goal in LA. Wow. Now that's a stat. Important question: Does someone not named Kane, Eichel, or Pominville score a goal tonight? Quote
