dudacek Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 (edited) At least Beaulieu got through a game without costing us a goal and we may have found Jack some linemates. But we still have 17 players who haven't scored a goal. Baby steps. Edited October 13, 2017 by dudacek Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 Was this better than what we have been seeing in the last three games? I hope not because this was a terrible game, zero, I mean ZERO heart on this squadThat's not what I saw at all. I saw a buncha dudes trying really hard and still being messy af. Quote
calti Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 the sabres were once or twice the hardest working team in hockey. 70s early 80s and mid 90s to early 00s Quote
thewookie1 Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 Eichel and the team are merely trying to prove that it is possible for a player to put up a ppg+ and still have their team lose over and over again. Quote
SwampD Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 I'm sure this is somehow Bylsma's fault. Â Â ...Or Cody Franson's. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 I'm sure this is somehow Bylsma's fault. Â Correct. :) Quote
pastajoe Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 Disappointed in the D. They looked much improved on paper, but the reality is they look just as bad as last year's group in the D zone. Too many times guys are left open near the crease. Scandella is the most disappointing. Quote
SwampD Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 (edited) Correct. :)No.   Jack needs to shoot the G D puck. Edited October 13, 2017 by SwampD Quote
calti Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 the D just looks wimpy...if u r gonna lose all the time at least knock some heads.we need to buy some goons Quote
Thorner Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 Okposo and Reinhart don't have any points. O'Reilly has 1. Larsson, Pouliot are ill equipped for their supposed roles. As are Beaulieu and Tennyson. Ristolainen is treading water right now. Goalies are poor. Â Eichel has been decent, he's picking up points. Pominville is going above and beyond what we could have asked. I can't believe he was able to bypass the existing depth chart almost completely. Kane has been pretty good and Girgs is finding his place. Â Aside from those 4 forwards, it's not looking great right now. Quote
StuckinFL Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 Can we demote ROR to wing and have Samson center Okposo? Maybe he can just take the draws and set them up a bit. Â Girgs - Eichel - Poms ROR- Sam - Okposo Quote

hockeyhound Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 The one good thing you can say about the Sabres is.......       I forgot.        Well, maybe something will come to me next week, next month, or maybe next year.      I'm sure I'll think of it, won't be long now.       zzzzzzzzzzzz Sorry nothing yet. qwksndmonster Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 I'm surprised by how much of a non-factor our d-men are offensively 5-on-5. I want Phil to be in Risto's ear telling him to keep it more. Quote
