The kids seems like he's about to reach his potential and that excites me, there's just so many red flags it makes my head hurt but you're right, let's enjoy it for now. If he keeps it up I'll let him sniff Eichels jersey with the C on it

How long before the boo birds start

You must have had the sound down at the end of the period, cuz they were already out in full.

Why?  They defend exactly the way he did for his entire career.

He's in the Hall of Fame. Just saying.

Today is Thanksgiving for me ;)

Did a memo go out that they'd start giving full effort on American Thanksgiving? Must have missed it.

It's like you have a different holiday for everything.(Steve Martin reference)

I just think it will take that long for this many new players and coach/system to gel.

Close. Had anyone CLOSE to NHL speed been on the ice there RATHER than Moulson, who missed getting to the puck by roughly the same amount as the pinching Antipin even though he had a good 30' head start, then either Buffalo has another goal w/ Kane getting a well earned assist or at least the puck is deep in the zone & out of harm's way.

Moulson then managed to pretty much miss getting a shot off after the PP on a nice set up from Larsson. If he's only good for taking shots from the slot, he'd better get to the puck there and make it count.

:censored:

You're right, of course. I was in a hurry and I glossed over Moulson sucking in the end, there. But you were more descriptive.

Just maybe they getting their behinds kicked players ready to listen to their coaches . Certainly disappointing expected it would take time with new coaching staff and 10 new players. But thought some would be overcome with enthusiasm of fresh start and opportunity

Kane starts the rush. First guy back in zone after.

I hope we're still in the "Wax on, wax off" portion of Housley teaching his system to the team.  And that all of a sudden it will click.

Hope but very concerned we don't have the right players.

If I'm the Sabres GM, I'm done signing players to long contracts. I'm predicting more suffering, perhaps years of suffering. We're hitched to a few of these guys for a while.
