3putt
Too damn passive. And soft.
CallawaySabres
At least we are faster, they get knocked off of every single puck battle...but they are fast

darksabre
I would have liked Bogosian in the lineup tonight.

rickshaw
Jordan Nolan will get some games very soon. They’re getting run with no push back.
Beer
We aren't there yet, this roster still needs to turn
darksabre
Welp, we knew October was going to be rough. This was a rough game. I'm taking solace in the fact that a lot of good teams have had rough games to start the year.
Brawndo
I would have liked Bogosian in the lineup tonight. I believe even True would agree with this statement tonight
Scottysabres
Chemistry. Its non existent. Time? Personally I don't think so. Talent? Inconsistently, sure. This team lacks HUNGER. just my opinion.
darksabre
I believe even True would agree with this statement tonight I wouldn't dare to make that assumption.
3putt
Griffith always has his back to the net, which is ok if you are 4 feet in front, but not on the half wall. I like his hustle, but I see why he is a career AHLer.
Doohicksie
I just realized why Housley didn't give out a C.
DarthEbriate
Jordan Nolan will get some games very soon. They’re getting run with no push back. Moulson and Pouliot don't really do anything as fourth liners. I guess Pouliot kills penalties. I think we can rest assured Nolan will be firmly entrenched in the lineup beginning Monday. Eleven
Finally found my way back to my laptop. The Sabs looked like they were skating in mud through two periods. I'm listening and not watching now, but I was not at all happy with what I saw. And I know that many of the goals weren't Lehner's fault, but if Housley's system is going to work, they need more of Ryan Miller and less of Darren Puppa back there. He will have to make some "miracle" saves for this to be successful. I'm not sure he's the guy for this system or vice-versa.
darksabre
I think maybe we're not giving the Islanders enough credit. They were a cusp team last year. If they're a playoff team this year then this game makes sense.
bunomatic
I'd feel better if there was anything positive to take away from their 5 on 5 play but there ain't much
dudacek
For all the hate he gets Kane may be the only guy that showed up tonight.
Neo
Did I Google correctly? Does four SHGs in one game tie an NHL record? Edited October 8, 2017 by Neo

Claude Balls
Team has zero toughness with this lineup. Rhino has been invisible, and Blowyou has been terrible. We all thought we won by tanking and getting Eichel. He may not be in the top 5 of young guns right now.
darksabre
For all the hate he gets Kane may be the only guy that showed up tonight. Girgensons, Okposo, and Larsson have had good games as well.

That said Nathan Beaulieu wasn't exactly his best friend back there. Marc Bergevin is smiling tonight. Girgensons, Okposo, and Larsson have had good games as well. I'll agree with that.
