Writing was probably on the wall when Yahoo laid off everyone save Him and Lambert.  It was a good run. 

 

Hopefully he keeps his podcast w/ Jeff Marek going.  I could listen to Marek talk about hockey forever.

I've learned so much because of Marek vs Wyshysnki. From little nerdy nuggets of hockey knowledge to more old/cancelled Canadian TV shows than I ever thought possible. I hope they stick to it, too.

The podcast with Marek has been sparse of late. He has a new-ish one with Lozo, called Puck Soup. 

 

I'm curious if he ends up with The Athletic.

This is my guess as well. Maybe covering the Devils or Rangers?

 

The Athletic is looking for a NHL Writer for Buffalo as well. There is no way he ends up here though.

Was very surprised to see wysh tweet this today.  Sounded like it was on his terms from what i read and heard, so curious to see where he lands.

They actually kept lambert? He’s such a little turd. He should really tell the story about the time when someone stole his girlfriend over the internet. Pure comedy good right there.

It was at least 8 years ago. I can search but I don’t think I’ll find anything. There was a good running recap on another message board but I’m pretty sure it’s been purged ages ago.

I thought his work has dropped lately so the last 2 years or so i barely read his work, but for the previous 7 years or so he was a main go to for my reading. I wonder where he is going to now? The Athletic?

This afternoon we finished up sorting out details on a new podcast we’ll launch in January. It’s a weekly with a heavy lean towards news/opinion and I’m looking forward to getting started. I’ll let my new podcast partner take it from here. @FriedgeHNIC the floor is yours….
