I think Bailey goes to Rochester and that top 12 is the lines with Dlo and Poiliot as the extra forwards.

 

I think they carry 7 defenders. Falk is the extra or Gorges.

Likely no Scandella again. I hope he is good to go for the opener. Would have thought it would be good to get a game in before a 6 day layoff to see how the hip reacts.

Scandella has been a regular practice & Housley said he's improved every day. They're stressing the importance of not thrusting him into game action too early.

 

Housley: "Could he have played tonight? Maybe, but I think just to err on caution we’re going to hold him out."

Pouliot is most definitely better than Moulson but I think he's played in more preseason games than the other guys playing tonight, so maybe that's why he's sitting. 

Unless Moulson has just been taking it easy or something. But the times I've seen him he looks notably worse than even last year.

Does Bailey sitting essentially mean he's Rochester bound?

 

I haven't been paying as much attention as I'd like. How has Griffith looked? He comes off as the prototypical Luke Adam type. Does he actually have a shot at making the team or do we think he'll be heading back to Rochester after tonight?

 

I like the Nolan pick up and I'm hoping for a few games this year we see a 4th line flanked with D-Lo and Nolan (assuming none of them get waived before the season starts). Games I'd like to see this line is vs. the Bruins, Flyers and Rangers.
