darksabre Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Fair. As I think you know, I don't care for the vision or vibe of much of what PSE does on the creative side of things. They just lack the things I enjoy about modern internet-based humour -- things like irony and self-awareness. That's humor in general. You've gotta be self-aware or else you can't generate content that people relate to. PSE lacks self-awareness and it's obvious in their products. Quote
sabills Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 I think this is a little unfair. It's like whenever someone compares a QB to Tom Brady. Of course they have a more entertaining Twitter feed. It's Vegas FFS! How does ours compare to, say, Columbus or Minnesota? Columbus's is also great. Quote
LGR4GM Posted September 21, 2017 Author Report Posted September 21, 2017 I mean, I just want a little personality. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 I mean, I just want a little personality. Unfortunately, I think that's the issue. Quote

I did this without incident for years. Now, it doesn't work for me. I just did it. Copy the image address. Click on the image option in SS and insert the url into that. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 (edited) I just did it. Copy the image address. Click on the image option in SS and insert the url into that. That's how I've always done it. But it doesn't work for me anymore. The giphy-sourced .gifs seem to be the issue. EDIT: When I try to paste in one of those gifs into the Image option, that's the result I get. Ahh, but this .gif from a non-giphy source will post for me. Must be something about the giphy platform. WildCard Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 giphy has been a pain in the ass for me too lately. Basically just stopped using it Quote

darksabre Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 It depends on how you get to the gif on giphy. It's a little goofy with certain gifs. Quote

Pommer can't dance. The Latvian could pass for a Russian thug. Evander is a riot and can dance. Eich is boring. And ROR can entertain us between periods with his juggling. Quote
Sabel79 Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 It's been going on for months w/ European soccer teams. Still, fairly early on the bandwagon so I'll give them credit. Quote

That Aud Smell Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 ^ I was more looking at the digital media department's "another juggle to our lines" take. Just ... bad. Not good. Not clever. Tends maybe to throw shade at the hockey ops. Quote

Thorner Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 Even the social media crew has given up putting a positive spin on this team. The snark is real. I've never seen such roasting as the consistent roasting of the team on every inevitable "That's a Final, Sabres lose" tweet after each game. I feel bad for whoever runs it. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Wasn't sure where to put this, but here seems like a good spot. No one's stodgier than ol' England, yeah? And yet *they* have done something weird, new, and fun (and *young*) in announcing their World Cup team. (I like it!) Quote
Sabel79 Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 That's still a stodgy team though. Going to be no fun whatsoever to watch until the get knocked out in the last 16 as is their wont. Quote
