dudacek Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 owning like how? Like stopping everything. OK, tongue a little in cheek. All the goalies were stopping everything. The shootout drill was going on forever because nobody could score. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 No Marco? Hmmm. Scandella played last night I believe. The inability to show on tv is not a technology or a Sabres thing IIRC, it's a league thing. Quote
thewookie1 Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 No Marco? Hmmm. They are easing him in game speed wise, he may not play until next week. Quote
Mustache of God Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Scandella played last night I believe. The inability to show on tv is not a technology or a Sabres thing IIRC, it's a league thing. Are teams only allowed to broadcast a certain number of pre-season games? The Pens are broadcasting this game and a whole bunch of other games have been broadcast as well. Quote
darksabre Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Like stopping everything. OK, tongue a little in cheek. All the goalies were stopping everything. The shootout drill was going on forever because nobody could score. That is somewhat less impressive. Quote
dudacek Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Marco didn't play last night. Griffith and Bailey get back-to-backs? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Huh. Guess they're really taking it easy on his hip. Quote
Brawndo Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 It's interesting that Bailey has been on the fourth line for both games. Quote
WildCard Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 It's interesting that Bailey has been on the fourth line for both games. This is really his last shot to be a regular NHL'er in Buffalo Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Huh. Guess they're really taking it easy on his hip. Or maybe he is a total bust and damaged goods. Quote
Brawndo Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 https://www.nhl.com/penguins/news/penguins-lineup-versus-buffalo/c-29114450 Penguins line up. I couldn't find where the Pens are streaming or broadcasting the game tonight. If anyone knows please advise. Johnson gets the start. Housley mentioned he felt Bailey had a better third period Quote

Wonder why when Root is doing the game, NHLtv won't carry it? Edited September 19, 2017 by PromoTheRobot Quote
MattPie Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 NHL.tv says otherwise. Wonder why when Root is doing the game, NHLtv won't carry it? Arcane weirdness of broadcast and cable rights contracts would be my guess. Or, NHL feels it isn't worth the effort. Quote
inkman Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 This is really his last shot to be a regular NHL'er in Buffalo Hmmm... Do others agree with this sentiment? I'm on the fence. Scandella played last night I believe. The inability to show on tv is not a technology or a Sabres thing IIRC, it's a league thing. This makes sense. No league knows how to discourage fan interest like the NHL. They are profoundly bad at promoting their product. It took over a year to get McDavid on national games and only a couple at that? Quote
dudacek Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Hmmm... Do others agree with this sentiment? I'm on the fence. Not this training camp, but this season. He needs to do enough this season that the consensus going into next year's camp is that he's on the team. Quote

Maybe a good candidate to move for a defenseman at the deadline assuming they will be buyers. Quote
