LGR4GM Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Tyler Weiss anyone? Has got a good story and he works hard. Not a terrible option at 94 depending on who is available. Quote
Rasmus_ Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Who's the best at the moment, Nils Lunqvist? Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Who's the best at the moment, Nils Lunqvist? Best what? Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 For the fourth round pick up coming. Nils went in round 1. Blade Jenkins and Jonathan Gruden are good options. Could also take Ryan O'Reilly. Quote
Rasmus_ Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Oops, sorry. I was out at that point after mid point. Quote

Rasmus_ Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Mascherin at all of interest? Or is he more of a 5th rounder, due to the over age re-entry draft? Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 only about 4 picks away until Buffalo is up again Mascherin at all of interest? Or is he more of a 5th rounder, due to the over age re-entry draft? anywhere after pick 94 I could see him being taken. I am not sure he is a Buffalo type but he does have a lot of upside. Quote
inkman Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Damn, Detroit sure seems to be having a weekend. Based on picking BPA or someone we've heard of? Quote
pastajoe Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Matej Pekar C, USHL rookie of the year. Tenacious on puck. Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Pekar is listed as a LW fromn what I'm reading, Sabres called him a C, probably since he doesn't have high end speed. Quote

dudacek Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Ryan O'Reilly goes to Detroit. Guess those people who said we were overrating his value were right. 4th freakin rounder Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Any relation to Ryan O'Reilly? :flirt: Quote
Eleven Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Just because I know everyone is watching this thread, and I want to draw attention to a comment in another thread: https://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/24579-the-even-randomer-thread/?p=1062979 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Ryan O'Reilly goes to Detroit. Dallas took Mascherin I gave a few of my friends heart attacks with this Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted June 23, 2018 Report Posted June 23, 2018 Can't say I've read much on Lindstram but he has a solid draft profile which is good, were really emphasizing the defense this draft. Big, raw, defensively solid, edgy defender who has seems to have gotten lost in the pile of high-end Swedish defensemen. Makes a hard first pass out of his end. No flash, just a really strong on his skates player who is really solid in his own end. Blocks shots, clears the front, and plays the body with regularity and some snarl. Is starting to show progress as an offensive zone player displaying a cannon from the back end. Has shown more confidence in jumping up in the play. Is more than willing to be a total team guy and stand up for his teammates. A sleeper who might surprise.
