pi2000 Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 This USC Texas game is awesome. Both QBs look really good. Gotta love OT. Yeah this is a fun one. Darnold just gets it done when it needs to get done. His technique is terrible most of the time, but boy is his pocket awareness off the charts. Quote

Eleven Posted September 17, 2017 Author Report Posted September 17, 2017 Notes: Â --Vanderbilt won a football game. Â --Every year, the wonks overrank a couple of big conference teams. Â This year, the awards go to Stanford and Louisiana State. Â --I don't want to hear another word about Josh Allen. Â Or Josh Rosen. Â Â --Yay! Â UB didn't lose to its I-AA opponent this year! Quote

Josh Allen Scouting Report: 6'5" and white. NFL GMs jizz themselves. Â Advanced scouting report: Sucks at football. But still 6'5" and white. Piss poor mobility even though his team loves to run his slow, unathletic ass. Advice: definitely overdraft! Talk about his bad line and poor receiving options. Quote

LGR4GM Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 I'd take Allen in the 5th. He's not good. Quote
Eleven Posted September 17, 2017 Author Report Posted September 17, 2017 I'd take Allen in the 5th. He's not good. Â I'd take him as an UDFA and try to turn him into a tight end before I'd consider spending a draft pick on him to put him under center. Quote
LGR4GM Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 Well we're talking buffalo so they'll take him in the 1st Quote

Iron Crotch Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 This just in - Darnold is good. Â Darnold wasn't that good most of the game. He did get it done late for sure. But, 4 Texas turnovers was the difference. Quote

ubkev Posted September 23, 2017 Report Posted September 23, 2017 Big day today Yeah, huge. Syracuse is going to lose by a thousand to LSU. Â I'm bummed that I'm going to miss TCU vs Ok State, though. I'm gonna be out all day. I figure this would be a good game to watch Rudolph. I'll record that game and the USC game. And hopefully I'm home for Baker Mayfield vs Baylor. Quote
LGR4GM Posted September 23, 2017 Report Posted September 23, 2017 Miss State (17) v. UGA (11) in Athens... and I can't watch a snap due to prior obligations, uhhhg. Quote

GoPre Posted September 23, 2017 Report Posted September 23, 2017 That's because they aren't good.   Agree on LSU, but credit needs to be given to FSU. It was their second game of the season. First complete game after losing their starting quarterback Deondre Francois. If things were different, FSU may have had the edge today. Quote

They were always going to have a down year this year. It was unlikely to be this bad but it was.  Also Georgia's starting QB went down and the backup went to ND and beat a ranked ND. FSU is just having a down year. Quote
Eleven Posted September 23, 2017 Author Report Posted September 23, 2017 And Arkansas found a way to screw it up. Â No surprise. Quote
