MattPie Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Another big day for Mason Rudolph and Ok St. What is it with these guys being named after jobs that that they're never going to have. Mason, Baker, I'm sure there's a Hunter somewhere. Maybe a Cooper or a Thatcher. Maybe if Rudolph washes out of the NFL, he could help lead Santa's sleigh. Quote

Winston Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) Taylor?Tulsa has a QB named Chad President http://m.espn.com/ncf/playercard?playerId=3917007&src=desktop Look out, Idriss Déby. He’s coming for ya! (Yes I obviously had to google the President of Chad) Edited December 6, 2017 by EichSnipe Quote

ubkev Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Taylor? Absolutely. I've never met a tailor who wasn't AARP eligible. And I'd be suspicious of one who was. He'd probably try to get me matching hats for my suits, or something. Quote
Eleven Posted December 22, 2017 Author Report Posted December 22, 2017 Just saw some video of Allen throwing in a t shirt on the ESPN pregame. Dude gas a gut?! And I don't mean Eli on the beach or Brady at the combine. He's got a legit gut. Quote
ubkev Posted December 22, 2017 Report Posted December 22, 2017 Commentators are giving Josh Allen a nice little mouth hug. Calling his not quick throwing motion "very quick". But he did just throw a nice little TD pass. Wide open WR, but he still made the toss. It was literally the best pass I've seen him make in the 5 games that I've watched him. Quote
Brawndo Posted December 22, 2017 Report Posted December 22, 2017 Baker Mayfield has accepted his Senior Bowl Invite Quote
ubkev Posted December 22, 2017 Report Posted December 22, 2017 Josh Allen is putting on a clinic in the first quarter, currently. His receivers are burning everyone they see, but he's hitting them. I haven't seen him throw like this, literally, ever. He's currently playing well. Quote

Oh, I'm not saying he's good. If you'll remember, I hate him as a first round pick. I'm just saying, he should destroy a MAC defense and he is. Just like he should have destroyed MWC defenses all year and didn't. Quote

ubkev Posted December 23, 2017 Report Posted December 23, 2017 Allen threw 6 passes in the second half. Completed 3 of em. 57% for the game. He doesn't hit enough receivers for me. That's the long and the short of it. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 And Ohio state lost to Iowa, lol Quote

SwampD Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 This used to be the only time of year I would ever watch college football. I honestly don't remember ever having watched a 6-6 team. Didn't "Bowls" used to mean something? Quote

2ForTripping Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 Currently 78 bowl games, 12th consecutive year teams with non winning seasons are allowed to participate. This year 19% or 15 teams had .500 seasons Some bowl games ie playoffs have meaning in so far as to who becomes the national championship but the rest seem to have become the "participation trophy" for a season Quote

It's all about the money. Almost all of them pay several million. And I think there's only a handful that pay less than a million. The big business of college football. Quote
