Brawndo Posted August 19, 2017 Report Posted August 19, 2017 Love it and miss it dearly. My kids firmly believe that their parents should not sleep Quote
ubkev Posted August 19, 2017 Report Posted August 19, 2017 I take a 2 hour one every day. They are truly wonderful. Quote

Neo Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 Among many things, Mexico gave the world tacos and siestas. America embraced the wrong one. Quote
Doohicksie Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 I got a nap in after my 53 mile bicycle ride. It was 96 degrees / 107 heat index when I got home. I almost can't help but nap after riding in that stuff. Quote
BuffalOhio Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 Naps are the best. It's like cheating the system. It feels so good and you're NOT supposed to do it! I try to get one every day after work. When my wife comes home, the naps are over. I've never seen such a small person make so much noise! "If I can't take a nap then why should you?" she says. Take a nap, woman, I'm not stopping you!!! Quote
Thorner Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 I always feel more tired after I nap. Some people say I don't get enough sleep, but I'm happy getting my usual 16 hours per night. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 <_< I'm lucky if I get 16 hours a week. Not counting my naps, of course. Quote
ubkev Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 2 hour nap today. Hockey at 8 tonight. Sleep from 10:30-12:30, off to work. Sleep is for the weak. Quote
Pokey Jones Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 and here I thought this thread was going to be about what you do if you are stuck watching a Dan Bylsma coached hockey team......... Quote
sodbuster Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 Hung the hammock in the backyard and rocked a 40 minute siesta today. What a way to go. Quote
darksabre Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 Sunday afternoon naps are about to start making their comeback Sunday, September 10th, at 1:00pm. Quote
Ogre Posted August 21, 2017 Report Posted August 21, 2017 I would trade 5 afternoon naps for 1 afternoon delight. Quote
Weave Posted August 21, 2017 Report Posted August 21, 2017 I would trade 5 afternoon naps for 1 afternoon delight. Line. You have crossed it. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted August 21, 2017 Report Posted August 21, 2017 Some people think its just very wrong to take naps. I am not one of those people Quote
Derrico Posted August 21, 2017 Report Posted August 21, 2017 God I could really go for a nap.... Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted August 22, 2017 Report Posted August 22, 2017 Naps Throw my day off, then again being on call and sleeping only spotty minutes of the evening does too.... I must confess that I set up a portable hammock today and dozed off for a bit, won't hear me complain about that time lost. Quote

Naps feck that up royally. Can't fall asleep to save my life if I've had a mid day nap. Problem is, I dig a good nap. Quote
