Randall Flagg Posted August 16, 2017 Report Posted August 16, 2017 Another prediction style thread, inspired by reading this http://thehockeywriters.com/ranking-nhl-teams-by-forwards/ So list the teams with the strongest and weakest forward, defense, goaltending, and coaching situations. Here's mine:Best forwards - Pittsburgh, Toronto, Tampa, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Buffalo, Dallas, Washington, in that order. Worst forwards - Las Vegas, Detroit, Vancouver, Montreal, Arizona (but they'll trend up sometime soon). Best defense - Nashville, Carolina, St. Louis, Calgary, Columbus, San Jose, Boston, Washington, Ottawa. Worst defense - Las Vegas, New Jersey, Colorado, Detroit, Buffalo, Toronto, Vancouver, Dallas. Best goaltending - Washington, Columbus, Montreal, Boston, New Jersey, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Edmonton (departing from my player list a little bit) Worst goaltending - Carolina, Arizona, Vancouver, Detroit, NYI, Florida, Philly, Winnipeg. Best coaching - Toronto, Chicago, San Jose, Montreal, Pittsburgh, Carolina, Minnesota, Washington, Dallas, Tampa, NYR, Nashville. Worst coaching - Detroit, Colorado, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Winnipeg, St. Louis. Lots of unknowns in coaching. Quote
Huckleberry Posted August 16, 2017 Report Posted August 16, 2017 Best forwards: Buffalo Best defense: Buffalo Best goalie: Buffalo Best coach: Buffalo Best GM : Buffalo Quote
LGR4GM Posted August 17, 2017 Report Posted August 17, 2017 (edited) Vancouver sucks. Almost top to bottom. They're a mess. That's the worst for all categories. I may be over simplifying. Edited August 17, 2017 by LGR4GM Quote
rakish Posted August 17, 2017 Report Posted August 17, 2017 I have Carolina having the best goaltending, not the worst. Darling had a very good year last year. Quote
