WildCard Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 So, what are you looking forward to the most this year? For me, it's a toss up between a healthy Eichel and Housley. Given how much I despised Byslma, I have to go with the fact that we have a new system that does everything I've always wanted (well, in theory) Quote
CallawaySabres Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Hopefully not being out of the playoff race by Christmas.... Quote

SabresFanInRochester Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 Evidence that Risto not only looks like a solid hockey player, but analytics that finally support that assertion. Quote
Pokey Jones Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 Housley's system. Fast aggressive hockey that attacks the opposition. A mobile D. Might not happen right away, but I at least hope to sees glimpses of what is to come. Quote
SabresFanInRochester Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 eh, I was just thinking, I really do look forward to seeing Risto show he is a top defenseman, but I am VERY excited to see a press conference from a head coach who shows more emotion than dismal/dreary Dan Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 Housley's system. Fast aggressive hockey that attacks the opposition. A mobile D. Might not happen right away, but I at least hope to sees glimpses of what is to come. I'd like to see those long passes Nashville was doing to our fast forwards. Playoffs will be awesome if they happen. Love taking on another city's team and getting into a couple of weeks of back and forth. Quote
threadbare Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 I'm looking forward to actually looking forward to watching hockey again. Quote
Drunkard Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 Josh Gorges coming off the books at the end of the season. Oh and competent coaching. Quote
