pi2000 Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Matt Cane predicted 3 million per year in his statistical model. So I would say no it isn't for a guy who put up 24 points last year? I think that's a little much... I'd go 1.6-1.9 range.... McCabish. no big deal tho, we're talking a few hundered k's. although he did log a +8 TRpm last season, on a good MON squad,.... that's nothing to sneeze at. he contributed significantly to their success. I told you this would get done, pi. Wait, what? Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Great, a bridge deal. Sounds about right. Guy had 19 pts 2 years ago and 28 last year. This is about what we paid Foligno last year for less production from a forward. Quote
Thorner Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Very good signing. So no hearings. Looks like the only items on the agenda are Girgensons, and Eichel. Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Rfa. Just Big Z to sign and we still have 9 mill in cap space. Now if we could just get rid of Gorges. Quote
LGR4GM Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Rfa. Just Big Z to sign and we still have 9 mill in cap space. Now if we could just get rid of Gorges. And Bogo Quote
WildCard Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 And Bogo Gorges, Moulson, Bogo, in that order Quote
pi2000 Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Gorges, Moulson, Bogo, in that order That's $14mil in AAV. Would you rather have those 3 on your team or a couple Drew Doughty's? Quote
darksabre Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Gorges, Moulson, Bogo, in that order I need Moulson out of here before those two. Quote
LGR4GM Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Gorges, Moulson, Bogo, in that orderMoulson, Bogo, and yup. Gorges leaves after this season so who cares. Quote
nfreeman Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Seems like a pretty reasonable deal for the Sabres. Quote
Georgia Blizzard Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Gorges, Moulson, Bogo, in that order Bogo, Moulson and Gorges in that order Need the cap space in 2018-19, not 17-18 Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Rfa. Just Big Z to sign and we still have 9 mill in cap space. Now if we could just get rid of Gorges. If we have $9 million in space left, what does it matter if we ditch Gorges? Who are we going to sign that $9M won't be enough for this year? Quote
dudacek Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 If this is all it took to sign Beaulieu, why is he no longer a Hab? They preferred Schlemko, Streit and Brandon Davidson. (Cue Wild Card: "because Bergevin is an idiot") Quote
Thorner Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 So, a question for those here smarter than me (see: The entire board), why is Beaulieu still a RFA at the end? He completed his ELC, then a two year deal. Now, this 2 year deal. Quote

He completed his ELC, then a two year deal. Now, this 2 year deal. He's only been in the NHL for 4 seasons. His 1st year w/ the Bulldogs only saw him playing 6 games for the Habs. 6 games doesn't count as an NHLer. Quote

His ELC didn't slide that year... Quote
Scottysabres Posted July 31, 2017 Report Posted July 31, 2017 Slightly pricy imo. I expected 2 x 3, got 2.4 x 2. Not great, but not bad. Quote
