Marco Scandella/Jason Pominville traded to Sabres for Ennis/Foligno

The Pominville-Ennis swap is a wash IMO, their contracts end the same year, Pommers is a hair more expensive but had more points this past season than Ennis ever has I think. I like this because I'm less fed up with Pommers than Ennis.

So Foligno and some pick for Scandella??? yes.

Immediate reaction highly in favour.

Scandella ->>>>> Kulikov (or at least last year's version)

Pominville -> Gionta

Fasching moves in for Foligno and we dump the Ennis contract.

Sad to lose Marcus, but as a poster here (Eleven, I think) is fond of posting, he is pricing himself out of his role and we have cheap wingers coming.

Wish Ennis the best but it was time.

It was helpful that he became more consistent, but ultimately that led to this.

I turn to you Randall, what do the fancy stats say about Scandella?

Not sure, I might not have time to look today either.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes.

Marcus is a good NHLer. Ya gotta give to get.

I believe MIN sends 4th to BUF and BUF sends 3rd to MIN.

This makes sense.
