GASabresIUFAN Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 Another 5'9 D. At least he's 178 http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectdetail.htm?dpid=104164 Do they have a clue as to what they are doing? Another wasted pick. Quote
Robviously Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 Going Providence next yearHe was there last year. Sounds like he went undrafed last season? Quote
Brawndo Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 He definitely is going to be a UFA in 2021! Sarcasm Font Quote
Eleven Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Keep it up, BRAWNDO; you'll beat Liger with one of these picks. Edited June 24, 2017 by Eleven Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 24, 2017 Author Report Posted June 24, 2017 I don't like how we have drafted in later rounds. Not at all. Quote
rakish Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 He was there last year. Sounds like he went undrafed last season? Overagers are a very undervalued pick, this one, looks a little small to me Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 24, 2017 Author Report Posted June 24, 2017 Two small d men I'm not sold but they have SPEED! Quote

LGR4GM Posted June 24, 2017 Author Report Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Ranked 167 by future considerations. and I would have waited til 161 to take him. Keep it up, BRAWNDO; you'll beat Liger with one of these picks. It's all him. I am disappointed in our scouting staff as I believe they reached with back to back picks. Farrance was/is a better pick than either player and neither of those players were going in the 3rd or beginning of the 4th. It was a reach and I am unhappy with our GM currently. I think that the idea of drafting fast skaters is good, I think reaching on defenders with those qualifications is bad especially when a guy like Farrance also has those traits. I basically do not think Buffalo got good value in the 3rd or 4th. Edited June 24, 2017 by LGR4GM Quote

Rasmus_ Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 Can we ignore posters? Seriously, calm the **** down. For the most part there were maybe 4-7 players that could definitely help the Sabres day one of next season, all if not most were gone by #8. Quote

It's fun when you get a new GM to trust his judgement and reserve your own. Message boards have turned fanbases into the most vocal and impatient lot. Let the guy establish a track record please. woods-racer Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 So we got the fastest goalie and 2 fast d-Men in the later rounds of the draft. In JBot I trust. Quote
ct fab Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 Plus the 3 forwards we got are Looking about speed. Wonder where that leaves reinhart who doesn't have great speed? Quote

IKnowPhysics Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 NHLe on his past year (20 points in 39 games) would make him an 18 point defenseman in the NHL as a 19 year old. Let him grow. Quote
