GASabresIUFAN Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 I was just thinking how different the Sabres might have been had Forsberg had fallen to us instead of Grigorenko in 2012, but then I realized TM would have traded him away and Regier would have forced him into the lineup before he was ready. Thorner Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 (edited) Malkin and Crosby look better today. Who was that that failed to get the puck out on that goal? Why, it's Oli Maata!! What a surprise! Edited June 6, 2017 by Thorny Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Boy I love that long Hail Mary pass Nashville does. I could see Bailey, Carrier and Baptist chasing down plays like that Quote
Thorner Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 (edited) Actually that'll probably be overturned. No goal, I think. Legal to elbow goalie in the head, I guess. The atrocious officiating continues. GOATS gonna GOAT. What a goal from Sid the Kid. Edited June 6, 2017 by Thorny Quote
darksabre Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Jesus, Crosby all alone. That's an epic brain fart. Quote
WildCard Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Jesus, Crosby all alone. That's an epic brain fart. According to the broadcast though it's just his epic hockey vision and incredible skills. Not a lucky pass that made it through traffic, a brain fart by the defense, and a lucky bounce off the post Quote
Thorner Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 All world work by Crosby on a top tier Defenceman in Josi to set that up. Big save Rinne. According to the broadcast though it's just his epic hockey vision and incredible skills. Not a lucky pass that made it through traffic, a brain fart by the defense, and a lucky bounce off the post The butthurt is strong in this one. Quote
Thorner Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 (edited) Very interesting play there. Clearly in, they stopped the play mid-way to review it. Edited June 6, 2017 by Thorny Quote
darksabre Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 That's the first time I've ever seen that happen. Quote

CallawaySabres Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 At this point, I would take this atmosphere for just 5 minutes in our building. Quote
Thorner Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Alright then To equate that goal to luck, with the move Sid made, is ridonkulous. Quote
WildCard Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 To equate that goal to luck, with the move Sid made, is ridonkulous. He made a good move, sure. He also got lucky it hit the post and bounced off Rinne. Pretty sure he didn't plan that Quote
Ogre Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 That goal thumbed its nose at two trips and a hook. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Those two passes before the goal were amazing. Fun game to watch Quote
Thorner Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Pens have to find a way to match the intensity level of the Preds or they may not win another game this series. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Charles Barkley is taller than Carrie Underwood. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Pens have to find a way to match the intensity level of the Preds or they may not win another game this series. A couple of quality defensemen so Ron Hainsey didn't have to be #2 in ice time wouldn't hurt. Quote

darksabre Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Subban looked like he was struggling on that shift after getting hurt. Quote
Winston Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Ha! Did Nashville crowd really do the "Murray, Murray, Murray, It's all your fault!" chant after an empty netter? That's hilarious if so. Quote

They should know that the correct cheer is to point, in order from your goalie, to the pulled goalie, to the empty net, and chant "Goalie, Sieve, Net! Goalie, Sieve, Net!" Quote
