Sabel79 Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 so does this mean Rochester is no more? Elmira is no more. Quote
Sabre fan Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 sorry but someone on Facebook basically said that this team replaces Rochester. I obviously thought they were different leagues but just wanted to clarify. Thank you... Quote
Doohicksie Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 :( Elmira folded at the end of the season. This is not news. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 Elmira folded at the end of the season. This is not news.I am aware. I'm still sad that my home town pro hockey team is gone. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 (edited) When Elmira folded I really expected the Pegulas to pick up the ECHL franchise and put them somewhere in the area. Maybe even in Harborcenter. Do you think a thousand fans would show for ECHL hockey in Buffalo? On a side note, my Manchester Monarchs lost Game 7 at home to South Carolina yesterday, missing a chance to play in the Kelly Cup finals. :( Edited May 25, 2017 by PromoTheRobot Quote

kas23 Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 Did Cincinnati already have a hockey team. I swear, I lived in the natty for 3 years starting in 2009 and never once heard someone mention the word "hockey". Quote
