It's fair to say he bestcof the current ones

True, though Doughty and Keith deserve consideration as well as Burns.

You have never seen Orr, Potvin, Coffey, Lidstrom, Chelios?

My earliest hockey memories are 2005, and I wasn't capable of analyzing how good players were until probably 2009. So EK is the best I've seen and it's not close.

Refs have the Pens back again, blowing it dead when it's not covered.

There is going to have to be blood or a clear that goes out of play w/out touching the glass to POSSIBLY get a call at this point.

The early whistle on that was an even up for letting the Otters use 6 skaters earlier.

That was odd. Though they are swallowing the whistle for both teams.

Pageau is great on the dot.

Oh yeah, forgot about that because I didn't get to feel indignant about the NHL.

God help me if the Sabres ever make it this far the playoffs. Have no idea how I Will Survive a game 7 and have no idea how I made it through the last Stanley Cup

Well, we were 18 years younger.

Scott Stevens was one of the best I've seen in my time. Wasn't an offensive d-man, but there weren't many better at just playing straight up defense. He rarely got beat.

I think it would have ended far sooner if they'd have called even a few of the trips, slashes, interference, high sticks, ....

The Pens are clearly the better all-around team... yet here we are...

I can't do this anymore.  I'm too tired.   the Penguins, the Sens, the refs, and weave.*

Goodnight.

*That was gratuitous, but probably necessary.  He's had an attitude lately and someone needs to "fertilize" his pepper garden.  Maybe inkman can do it or something; if not, it's Charlie work and I expect WIldCard to step in.
