I-90 W Posted May 10, 2017 Report Posted May 10, 2017 Heartbreaking. Prayers for both families. Not sure what happened but I do think that 87 years old (the other motorist involved) is to old to operate a mv. I have personally witnessed countless mva and it typically is either an elderly person at fault, a teenager, or a person on their phone/ texting. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted May 10, 2017 Report Posted May 10, 2017 Today is Chris' birthday. He just retired three months ago. Kathy was a teacher; this would have been the beginning of their first summer off. Awful. Hang in there, Chris. Quote

Agreed - prayers for the Berman family, but at what age do we start retesting drivers ? Quote
I-90 W Posted May 10, 2017 Report Posted May 10, 2017 Agreed - prayers for the Berman family, but at what age do we start retesting drivers ? I like the Arizona model a lot. DL should expire around age 65 - 70 then retest periodically after that. Quote
Ducky Posted May 11, 2017 Report Posted May 11, 2017 Tragic....Chris is a big CFL booster. Sad to hear. Quote
chileanseabass Posted May 11, 2017 Report Posted May 11, 2017 I was blindsided by a 93 year old man back in January. Flipped my car and sent it spinning. Recently finished 3 months of physical therapy for my banged up shoulder. Quote
