That Aud Smell Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 (edited) jack doing lots of faceoffs and playing a defensive role. Shot just off, snake bit it seems but luving his defensive play and he is hitting. Learning playoff type hockey gives him little space and time but yes his legs seem a little slow. Nursing a lower body injury, almost like a quad, his explosiveness isnt there? This sounds like what I heard from Hamilton. Hamilton Tweeted to the effect that Eichel's not been playing well the last few games, and, he ventures, that something isn't right with him. Edited May 16, 2017 by That Aud Smell Quote

sabills Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 Can't believe I forgot to dvr this game wanted to scout Antipin. He got Russian player of the game, looked pretty good to me. I know it can't happen. I know it won't happen. I know this. But my god, what I would pay to get Gaudreau on Jack's wing... Quote

That Aud Smell Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 Btw, Pulujarvi is getting consistently scratched for Finland. Yo - wut. I seem to recall a time when he and Laine were being discussed -- by some scout pundit types -- as fairly interchangeable "what flavour do you prefer?" Quote
WildCard Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 Yo - wut. I seem to recall a time when he and Laine were being discussed -- by some scout pundit types -- as fairly interchangeable "what flavour do you prefer?" I preferred Puljujarvi Clearly, I'm a moron  Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 Btw, Pulujarvi is getting consistently scratched for Finland. The Oilers totally dicked his development. He could still be perfectly fine long term, but I think they set his timetable back. Quote
WildCard Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 The Oilers totally dicked his development. He could still be perfectly fine long term, but I think they set his timetable back. Just like they did with everyone not named McDavid. But hey, the tank sucks and Chiarelli is a good GM ;) Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 The Oilers totally dicked his development. He could still be perfectly fine long term, but I think they set his timetable back. He did manage to produce pretty well in the AHL - 28 points in 39 games. Leon Draisaitl was also kept way too long his rookie year, and then sent down. He turned out fine. Since Puljujarvi gets McDavid as a center long-term, I think he'll be just fine too. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 (edited) Victor Hedman almost had some big problems. (In a spoiler because it's graphic) Edited May 16, 2017 by Randall Flagg Quote

Eleven Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 EST is -5, btw, making all these games -7 hours. USA/FIN will be at 9:15 tomorrow, then. But we're not on EST right now; we're on EDT. Does that change things? Quote
sabills Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 But we're not on EST right now; we're on EDT. Does that change things? Good call, yes, EDT is -4, which means that is 10:15, which makes more sense. God, when can we get rid of that. We should just move to Daylight Savings and stay there. I want my extra hour after work, dammit. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 But we're not on EST right now; we're on EDT. Does that change things? That part of Europe is on 'summer time' now, so Germany and France would be UTC +2, since UTC does not change. This means that EST would be 6 hours behind. Quote

Eleven Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 Does anyone know if the games are viewable online? I can sometimes get out of my office to watch somewhere (like the hotel lobby downstairs) but that's not going to be an option tomorrow. Quote

I've had them on my second monitor at work a bunch. Quote
