Claude Balls
What a quick whistle. If I have to listen to Pierre and Olcyk blow Pittsburgh for two more rounds I will surely throw up.....over and over.

Claude Balls
If the Caps lose, there are only two people to point to....Holtby and Ovechkin. Neither decided to show up this series.

I wouldn't throw those 2 under the bus, Â Depending on how things go, Fleury is going to have to get a ton of credit for what he is doing. And great players are making great plays. On the goal, Crosby pressured Niskanen into making the turnover, made the first pass, then boxed out the Caps defender to ensure Guentzel's set-up pass got through to Rust. Then the great finish. SOG were similar, but the Caps had a ton more shots attempted.

TrueBlueGED
I can't believe this is happening. Caps have been the better team by a fair margin, I think. Have been for, by my count, 6 games this series. And yet...

Thorner
Well. I can not comprehend how Pittsburgh is winning this game. Because Washington? Pittsburgh is very defensively responsible. Starts with the captain. Sid dominated on the first goal. They probably have a belief they can win these games. Fleury has been incredible. Â And the Pens have got a LOT of bounces today, so far. JJFIVEOH
But Pittsburgh has showed up today, after their worst game of the playoffs last game. Shots even.  Yes they have. As one who hates sports cliches, the Pens "weathered the storm" in the 1st and it's paying off. They're definitely playing much better than last game. Caps were all over them in the 1st, but they're lost their edge.

Fleury is definitely playing out of his mind, seeing how he was horrible the last time he was the starter going into the playoffs. If Murray wasn't injured, he may have never seen the ice in this series. Â As for Holtby, he is at around a 900 save % right now. 878 vs Toronto and 925 going into tonight. Not good enough. Ovie has 8 points in 12 games, .66 PPG.....again not nearly good enough from your best player. The Caps two best players have been average at best so far.
