Randall Flagg Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 Understand and agree to the first chunk. Pastrnak is not the best player from the 2014 draft class. Who's better? 25th selection: 123 points in 172 games, 0.72 points per game, crummy old centers ;) 3rd selection: 137 points in 191 games, 0.72 points per game, McDavid I guess it's up for contention between those two, right? Ehlers and Nylander look excellent too. Ekblad's first 2 seasons were great and he fell apart once he was given first pair responsibilities, and has the nagging concussions.
LGR4GM Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 I don't think their centers are crummy here today, I think they will become less good in the near future. But I don't think Pastrnak is the best player from 2014. Maybe at the end of next season I will but right now, he's in the conversation but not quite there.
dudacek Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 (edited) Great article on Guerin. Sounds like a leader. But what I liked best is the way he related to Crosby, who, IMO, has a lot in common with Jack. http://www.pittsburghmagazine.com/Pittsburgh-Magazine/December-2015/Bill-Guerin-on-Hockey-Family-The-Stanley-Cup-Crosby/ Edited April 27, 2017 by dudacek

TOROSAYS Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 Is this you or is it being reported? Reported by sabres buzz
Randall Flagg Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 I decided to cast my vote for Brisebois.

dudacek Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 I decided to cast my vote for Brisebois. Looks like a bright dude with tons of experience.
GASabresIUFAN Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 They're going to win a Cup in the next decade. Of that I'm sure Can you imagine how unbearable their fans will be then?
TrueBlueGED Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 I decided to cast my vote for Brisebois. I'd be completely okay with that. Tampa is a sharp, progressive front office. Can you imagine how unbearable their fans will be then? Can they really get much worse?
Brawndo Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 From Friedman Hearing NYR AGM Chris Drury wont interview w/BUF. Sabres asked. Rangers consulted Drury, but decision was: not yet time. A future GM, though
Derrico Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 From Friedman Hearing NYR AGM Chris Drury wont interview w/BUF. Sabres asked. Rangers consulted Drury, but decision was: not yet time. A future GM, though He spurns Buffalo twice. you Chris Drury.
ubkev Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 He spurns Buffalo twice. ###### you Chris Drury. Ha! I stand by what I said up thread. Drury can stuff it!
Derrico Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 Ha! I stand by what I said up thread. Drury can stuff it! Yep
TOROSAYS Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 So, it is good form when posting information to let everyone know in that post where you are getting it from. A link, when possible, is greatly preferred. Completely understand but, I couldn't figure out how to copy it from twitter on my IPad
apuszczalowski Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 He spurns Buffalo twice. ###### you Chris Drury.he never wanted to be here, it was all about getting to his boyhood dream of being with the Rangers. Luckily he played well here and lived with the situation but when it came time to get to pick for himself he was always as good as gone.
respk Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 From Friedman Hearing NYR AGM Chris Drury wont interview w/BUF. Sabres asked. Rangers consulted Drury, but decision was: not yet time. A future GM, though And Drury saves the Pegulas from themselves.
JJFIVEOH Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 Man Randall you are a he'll of a member here. Well thought out posts. Going to be disappointed not getting your undivided attention next year. Where's he going?
darksabre Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 And Drury saves the Pegulas from themselves. Indubitably
Randall Flagg Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 That doesn't look great. "Hey Chris, are you interested in maybe running our team?" "Uhhh I don't think I'm ready for that yet" Didn't they ask PLF the same way?
tom webster Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 he never wanted to be here, it was all about getting to his boyhood dream of being with the Rangers. Luckily he played well here and lived with the situation but when it came time to get to pick for himself he was always as good as gone. This is so inaccurate. Completely ignores facts that he agreed to contract with Buffalo, that the Rangers only approached him after Nylander left for Washington and that he gave his soul to this team and only inept management cost them Drury and Briere.
darksabre Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 Buccigross thinks Botterill is the guy (per Twitter.) He'd put his money on it.
Sabel79 Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 This is so inaccurate. Completely ignores facts that he agreed to contract with Buffalo, that the Rangers only approached him after Nylander left for Washington and that he gave his soul to this team and only inept management cost them Drury and Briere. You're never going to convince those inclined to be angry at the players who left that ownership was to blame for them leaving...
Randall Flagg Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 Buccigross thinks Botterill is the guy (per Twitter.) He'd put his money on it.95% of these guys I'd not feel strongly about one way or another so it doesn't mean much but id be totally fine with this
darksabre Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 95% of these guys I'd not feel strongly about one way or another so it doesn't mean much but id be totally fine with this I have basically no opinion either.
