matter2003 Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 Looks like they definitely got the better of the trade...Hodgson is out of the NHL. Kassian scored the game winning goal in game 2 against the Sharks and just put the Oilers up 1-0 in a tight, scoreless game in the 3rd period... looks like he is turning into one of those guys that doesn't do much during the regular season but becomes clutch in the playoffs... Sabres definitely lost that one... Quote
inkman Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 If only the Sabres hung onto this guy who can't stay in the NHL regularly Quote
SDS Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 The Sabres traded with Vancouver. The Oilers picked up a player 2x discarded. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 Sabres traded Kassian to Vancouver, where he flamed out. How did we get the worst of that trade? Some guys take a long time to put it together. This playoff series could still be another flash in the pan, who knows. Quote
SDS Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 He has 38 NHL goals since he was drafted in 2009. Its 2017. I'm not losing sleep. He obviously had talent, it's always been on him. Quote
bunomatic Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 Who knew Zack Hodgson would develop into this good a player ? Quote
pi2000 Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 He's battling alcohol addiction. He's got it turned around after flaming out in MTL and the car wreck. Good on him for taking control of his life. It's nice to see him having some success. Quote
Weave Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 Hate seeing Kassian do well in the playoffs for Vancouver. /sarcasm Quote
carpandean Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 The MacArthur trade is also paying big dividends for the Senators. Man, Murray sucks. Quote
Mustache of God Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 (edited) Seeing as how Edmonton traded a goalie who flamed out and is playing in the KHL for him I'd say, yes, they won that trade. Edited April 17, 2017 by mustacheofgod Quote

Yeah, they won that trade, but it's not the trade that matter2003 implied (Hodgson for Kassian): Looks like they definitely got the better of the trade...Hodgson is out of the NHL. MattPie Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 Yeah, they won that trade, but it's not the trade that matter2003 implied (Hodgson for Kassian): So, Sabres lost, Vancouver Lost, Edmonton won their trade. I'm not sure where else he played (Mtl?). That's assuming he continues being effective, of course. Quote
nfreeman Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 Since we're free associating here, I'll note that Paul Byron has turned into a nice player for the Habs. Also, if you take 3/4 of a handful of M&Ms, and 1/4 of a handful of peanut butter M&Ms, and mix them together in your hand before inhaling them, the effect is quite pleasant. Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 And Drew Stanford is showing his playoff stuff. I knew we let him go too soon! (Ducks) Quote

SwampD Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 I think the manner in which the pizza is reheated really needs to be discussed here. If it's the microwave, absolutely cold pizza is better. If it's the toaster oven, then reheated is the way to go. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 I think my subconscious reason for saying that was to see you post this GIF Quote
