Beer Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 Playoff hockey is bad hockey. Playoff atmosphere is what is epic. But watching a lot of these games honestly sucks. You're watching the wrong game, check out Preds game. Quote
SwampD Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 No way was that play onside. You coul see white under his skate. Quote
ubkev Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 No way was that play onside. You coul see white under his skate. Agreed And again this Washington powerplay sucks! Quote
darksabre Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 I said to myself, now I'm not sure how you go about getting a spiral fracture, but that sure looked like a good way to do it. But hey, I know very little and I do no research. We did the research first hand. It suuuuure looked like it. Quote
WildCard Posted April 16, 2017 Author Report Posted April 16, 2017 The Caps have 4 pp The Leafs are still outshooting them 22-19 Quote
GoPre Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 (edited) No way was that play onside. You coul see white under his skate. I agree, but the play being an inch offside had no impact on the outcome. Point I'm trying to make is get rid of the challenge. No reason to say a goal shouldn't count because it was offside 10 seconds prior. If a player is definitively offside the red would've caught it. Edited April 16, 2017 by GoPre Quote
darksabre Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 The Caps are really lacking in killer instinct. I don't get what they're waiting for. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 The Preds look good. A) Glad I didn't take that avatar bet with True B) Give me Phil Housley ...it's not too late  Quote
Taro T Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 We did the research first hand. It suuuuure looked like it. Yeah, pretty sure that's gonna leave a mark. But I'd expect it was soft tissue damage, quite likely in both the knee & ankle. The way the foot was twisted around backwards, if there was a spiral fracture in fibula there'd likely also be one in the tibia. & he wouldn't have left the ice under his own piwer w/out the leg being immobilized. Claude Balls Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 The Caps are really lacking in killer instinct. I don't get what they're waiting for. Same , different year. They are my 2nd team and I would really love to see Ovie hoist the cup, but come playoff time they just play like garbage. They should sweep Toronto without any problems. They could still sweep, but not in dominating fashion, that's for sure. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 I really don't like this ref.Tim Peel? He blows Quote

I was shocked to see him helped off the ice without a stretcher. But with the shin pads, tape and tight solid skates, his lower leg is basically already immobilized. Once that stuff comes off, he is gonna be in a world of hurt. That thing will blow up like a balloon. Quote
Taro T Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 Did not expect to see the Hawks 5 periods into the playoffs & still having the same # of playoff goals as the Sabres. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 Did not expect to see the Hawks 5 periods into the playoffs & still having the same # of playoff goals as the Sabres.I might not totally lose out on my preseason prediction that the Sabres would have more playoff wins than Chicago either... ubkev Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 Watching the hawks and preds, thinking how far away the Sabres are from playing like this. The speed, the hitting, the intensity. It may be decades. I can't even remember the last time Buffalo was this hard nosed. Both teams are flying. Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 That ###### is broken! Polak just snapped his ankle and it was gross to watch. Am I a bad person for laughing and not feeling bad at all that that happened? Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Quote
