Beer Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Nice to see Kassian finally turn into the player everybody thought he could have been five years ago. Never too late I guess. Is this an example where a coach (McLellan) gets more out of a player? Quote
bunomatic Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 The only difference in Kassians game is he gets away with liberties in the playoffs whereas in the humdrum regular season they make those calls. Regular season the oil would be killing penalties every time Kassian took a shift playing like that. Quote
darksabre Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Looks like Calvert won't be getting suspended for assaulting Kuhnhackl. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Is this an example where a coach (McLellan) gets more out of a player? I'm sure he played a part. But Kassian did step in the right direction when he was with Vancouver. He got lucky to have a 2nd and 3rd chance, nice to see he pulled his head out of his ass. I'd take him over somebody like Clutterbuck and day of the week. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Good anthem singer. Too bad the kid's gonna lose his gig when he goes through puberty. Quote
Eleven Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Someone get Swamp to Ottawa stat. NBC's mixer is horrible. Very difficult to hear the announcers over the ambient noise--and the crowd is quiet, too. It's the skates and sticks that are making it difficult to hear. Quote
GoPre Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) Still can't stand the coaches challenge. Edited April 15, 2017 by GoPre Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 That's offsides and once again unbelievably irrelevant I'm glad they that up because it's stupid that you can review that. Quote

GoPre Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 And the General ties it up. Eat that Boston. Quote
Thorner Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Bobby Ryan is a pretty good hockey player. Quote
Eleven Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 And that was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen a goalie do. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 It's an ex-Sabres scoring fiesta in Ottawa today. Quote
Eleven Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 PS: All three goal scorers so far are former Sabres. Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) All these ex-Sabres scoring for the Bruins. Who's next, Dominic Moore? Edit: Forgot about MaCarthur Park for Ottawa as well. Edited April 15, 2017 by Claude Balls Quote
Eleven Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 All 3 goals from former Sabres. Beat me to it. Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 As much as I hate the Bruins, I would love to see a Montreal/Boston series. Quote
Sabre fan Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 funny thing is none of these guys could make our team right now! we were all running these guys out of town not so long ago. Stafford is a floater while Clarke never seemed to find his grove and Schaller wasted away in Rocehster. Gotta say I do think we have more talent hen either Ottawa or Boston but they sure get a lot of milage of out their players while most of ours seem to underachieve if anything Quote
Eleven Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 The only way Ottawa wins this series now is if they run Rask. It's a viable strategy, especially since any suspension will be only 3 or 4 games. Quote
