SwampD Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 I think it should be legal, nay, encouraged, to taze anyone who turns around and waves to the camera while on a cellphone when the play goes by the near boards. Quote
SwampD Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Great line- "Who buttered Lunquist's stick tonight?" Quote
Beer Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 This game has marathon written all over it Quote
darksabre Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 I really expected the Canadiens to get some more home ice calls but the Rangers are getting away with a lot. Quote
Beer Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) Both teams getting chances in OT. Habs win. What a game. Â The horn in Montreal is about 10 seconds too long. Edited April 15, 2017 by Beer Quote
darksabre Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 I still can't believe Kassian is on a playoff team. Quote
nfreeman Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 That Habs-Rangers game was great. Shea Weber is a freaking rock. Quote

qwksndmonster Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Kassian with a blatant charge on Couture and it goes uncalled. Officiating in the playoffs is so stupid. Quote

millbank Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 The games are great entertainment whoever you rooting for Quote
qwksndmonster Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 It was a great hit. C'mon. He left his feet to propel himself at the head of an injured dude wearing a cage. If Couture got hurt the NHL would've suspended him for 2 games and the announcers would be talking about how dirty it was instead of gushing about him. Quote

qwksndmonster Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Nope. Great hit. Except for the part where he left his feet? Quote
SwampD Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Except for the part where he left his feet? The hit is what caused him to leave his feet. He didn't leave his feet to make the hit. Great (and legal) hit. Quote

That is not what I saw at all. And I've had to watch the replay like 16 times so I'm positive he left early.  Zoomed in replay at the end of the video. Edited April 15, 2017 by qwksndmonster Quote
qwksndmonster Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Brutal night for the Sharks. 6 power plays, 2 shorthanded goals against. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Nice to see Kassian finally turn into the player everybody thought he could have been five years ago. Never too late I guess. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) Kassian is still a below average third liner. 24 points in 79 games this year. Larsson is a much better player.  I just googled Larsson and his full name is Johan Oskar Torgny Larsson. Hehehe  Pathetic showing from the Sharks. They need Thornton back or something. inkman Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Rangers-Habs is an absolute track meet so far. Grabner was just shot out of a cannon and scored on a breakaway, pretty slick goal. Also, one of the commentators just said that "the complexion of the team changed" in reference to the Subban-Weber trade. Poor choice of words there, eh? Seems accurate to me  Quote
Sabre fan Posted April 15, 2017 Report Posted April 15, 2017 Who would have thought...2 short-handed goals? Not sure if anybody saw he highlights but Kassian was running around and delivered a nice hit to the head then charged half way around the rink to hit another Shark...guess he gets away with all this crap at home. Either way, clearly even the Oilers coach who I never liked from San Jose has found how to best use kassian...that is a skill of a coach and unfortunately Blysma just doesn;t seem to be able to do that...instead he tries to get everyone to play the same way and the same system...
