Claude Balls Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 If Bylsma is still here, I say Vegas. Quote
nucci Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 I agree. Vegas looks solid....good goaltending and great goal scorers. The defense is inexperienced and not much depth but they should be fun to watch. Quote

ubkev Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Odds: Vegas opening at 5:2 Buffalo opening at 1.5:1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Buffalo, and it isn't close. Think about our pipeline. Not the Sabres just the pipeline. We have so many players who are still 2-4 years away and they are good prospects. Vegas has none of that yet. We also have jack freaking eichel... 3rd year angry Eichel. Vegas is going to get what? Patrik at best? Look I get the because buffalo crap but come on now. Quote
BMWR100RT Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 I'm in the "because Buffalo" camp. Vegas baby! Hope I'm wrong. Quote
Jacque Richard Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 You better hope it's the Sabres, eichel will be outta here Quote
ubkev Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 You better hope it's the Sabres, eichel will be outta here To be fair, if he can't lead us to the playoffs, does it even matter? Â Not saying I don't think he can. But if your scenario played out. Vegas makes it and we don't and Jacks years of team control are all used up. Does it even matter? Quote

No. If we spend the next 6 years missing the playoffs and Jack leaves as a UFA it doesn't matter because at that point we missed the boat. Quote

Doohicksie Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Don't care. Â What I care about, and the more interesting question in my opinion, which of of the two teams will be the first to win the Stanley Cup? Quote
