CallawaySabres Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Only royal blue jerseys can save this offseason.... Quote
nfreeman Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Yeah, ###### this franchise. I'm done Settle down young man. You're not going anywhere. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 The John Murphy Show, to talk about tweeting during football games and the Thurman Thomas's life production, on locker room clean out day. Nice. Quote
Jacque Richard Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 The players like ennis sound their like their dope the way the speak. A bunch overpaid losers. Quote
WildCard Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 Apparently Eichel sounded off Quote
Stoner Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Bylmsa just said based on recent conversations he's had with Murray he's the coach going into next season. This kills the Sabre fan. Harrington asked if he'd been told he was going to be the coach or if he was just "going forward." DDB said he's talked to Murray in the last little while and "going forward." It was a non answer that leaves a sliver of light and hope for some of you. Quote
WildCard Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 Dan said the pp got better after he listened to fan advice about putting Eichel on the half-wall Our $3m, Stanley Cup winning head coach, needed fan advice to correct an obvious issue. Awesome Quote
chileanseabass Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 (edited) Per Harrington: Eichel clearly furious. Said too many guys in the room simply happy to be in the league. Part of the culture that needs change. #Sabres So, who needs to go? Who is Eichel talking about? Edited April 10, 2017 by ChileanSeaBass Quote

WildCard Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 This is a joke right? Nope. He might have been half-joking about it, but the evidence is pretty clear. Fans bitched about it, then it happened. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Nope. He might have been half-joking about it, but the evidence is pretty clear. Fans bitched about it, then it happened. If only we could bitch loudly enough about something else, say the head coaching situation...? Quote

I'm going to have to listen to this interview later. Because I'm going to have a tantrum if he was even partially joking. Quote
chileanseabass Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 More from Jack - “I think guys want to win,” Eichel said Monday, “but there’s a difference between saying you want to win and actually wanting to win and putting the work in and dedicating your life to it.” Quote
WildCard Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 @lostnascarfan Evander Kane said today the #Sabres would've been Colorado if not for great goaltending Well, he's not wrong Quote
Jacque Richard Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Their all pointing fingers and collecting their fatty paychecks. They all like living here too. Quote
Stoner Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 I'm going to have to listen to this interview later. Because I'm going to have a tantrum if he was even partially joking. Of course he was joking. It was just a nod to the idea that everyone thinks they can coach. Interesting that he knew that sentiment was out there in the fan base, when a coach or player would typically say they don't hear what anyone outside the room is saying. Quote
Weave Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 The bickering Bills got nuthin on these guys. This team is a hot mess. GMTM may be an astute judge of hockey talent, but I dont think he is a team builder either. Quote

He was joking, but then he changed it to match the fans thoughts? Even if he figured that out himself, the fact that it took that much longer than casual fans to notice it is pathetic Quote
Jacque Richard Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Cause losing has been accepted here with both franchises. Quote

Part of the culture that needs change. #Sabres So, who needs to go? Who is Eichel talking about? Compare to ROR's low-key, mumbling, indecipherable player-speak. He said he had a terrible season, by the way, and had no problem with too much ice time. He said he'd like to play 60 minutes if he could. Quote

Stoner Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 By the way, I can't wait until they post the Eichel video and I can see what a 'clearly furious" Eichel looks like. I suspect he's going to look like he always looks, slighty annoyed to have to be speaking, but we'll see. Quote

Part of the culture that needs change. #Sabres So, who needs to go? Who is Eichel talking about? I can think of a bunch. The thing is, they absolutely should just be happy they are in the league, cuz they won't be soon. On that note, did we see the most NHL debuts for players this? I can't remember that many in the past. Quote
Sabre fan Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 (edited) I think it is safe to say that they will roll out he "injury" excuse...there is no doubt injuries played a part in this year's complete failure but the truth is team's find a way around injuries but we are far beyond blaming only injuries...I have no doubt DB will be back next season and we will be yet again a fringe at best team that has too many players trying to be what they aren't cause that's DB's "system"...LIndy's looking better by the minute! and yes our goaltending was far better then they have been getting credit for...
